Depression is a very complex condition that can be much about the individual. There's a naturally depressive mental state that comes with being a compassionate human, there's people who maybe lack compassion, but place stress on themselves.
...then there's people with serious irregularities in their brain chemistry who are fine one second, then feel horrible the next. Those people need extra help as the depression is not reflective of their personality or actions

I've suffered from both migraine and bipolar depression. Currently, on Ajovy, I've greatly improved. But, having fewer headaches, I have noticed that migraine/headaches are related. I'm wondering which triggers which. When I have a headache I become depressed and when I'm feeling depressed my headaches are more severe and frequent. What's the cause and what's the result? This dual issue is accurate

The area of our brains which controls migraines, is also the part which regulates emotions.
I'd suggest one triggers the other, so you you must take steps to have less headaches & be less depressed, which is very easy to say
