Very thorough stats presentation. I guess the best way to go about your goals is not to put too much pressure on yourself and to maybe pick 2 to focus on the first 6 month of the year and another the second half of the year. Good luck and Happy New Year!

Thanks. That's a good way of thinking of it. It definitely gets harder when I stack various goals.

this is such an interesting way of doing a stats video! loved it! I agree with you that so many new books are just mid, because so many of the mid-books published before the 2000s just havent stood the test of time so we don't know about them.

Thanks! My problem is trying to figure out which ones are worth reading. I've been scouring backlist titles and found a lot that sound interesting. I'm still unsure of they're actually good.

Loved all these stats - I'm very inspired to do the same this year! About the genres, it's hard but I have also come to terms with only reading books that interest me, and not forcing myself to read genres I'm not usually interested in just for the sake of being a more 'well-rounded' reader.
I haven't used text-to-speech before so I would find your thoughts and experience on that interesting. 🙂

Thanks! Stats can be fun but definitely a hassle. Very satisfying to get it done in the end though.
