Oh yeah a spray paint can would be great! Could implement it as a pop up with a few pre-designed sprays (to make it easier on devs): big X, arrows in various directions, lines in compass point directions, etc.
12:03 hey check out the U button, that brings up a scanner that will tell you what something is made of. For example that spotlight there (and most of those fittings on the roof) is made of 20kg of copper (iirc), def worth sawing off if you're not going to collapse the superstructure and grab it all later.
That collapse of basically the whole ship at once was immensely satisfying. Such a cool thing to see, too. I love that you can do things like that in this game. The gas lines still creep me out when they burst into flames, though. Lol. 😄
I got level 10 hammer, saw and torch. All final 10 levels cost 3600$. I took the worst ship when I had the money to buy it and progressed from there to cheaper ships. The most important thing is to complete all contracts and dismantle the ship completely. There is a giant surprise hidden in the bow of the most expensive ship and it has to be lifted out of there with a crane. Playing it wrong destroys the chance to make money. This happens at the point when you collapse and crush the most important things that were supposed to be collected. The biggest ship takes forever, but you get a lot of money for completing it. 👍
Alllll the ships Grill. I realize recording of you picking up all the scrap would make your videos 2 hrs long, but I'd like to see you hammering more of the floors.
I wonder how a sped-up / time lapse of those long parts of the game he's skipping would look? And would making those fit into Grill's video editing workflow?
I wish they had a death scene when a player screwed up, one with text about how dangerous this work is in real life in Southeast Asia. No other penalty, just respawn back at home shack. I've 'died' dozens of times in game, fell when the floor under me collapsed, blown up in gas explosion, had roof above me fall on me, walked of ledge by mistake, etc.
I was on the fence about getting this after the first one but they've really streamlined the game so it doesn't devolve into an inventory management sim. I'm seeing a few critical bugs with controller support, but overall it's a much improved experience. The bugs will get fixed in time; really enjoying your series and the game.
It's even easier, no sawing required - hammer out the surrounding panels on both sides and (usually) the door falls out of the frame too (I think that's a bug, the door should stay in the frame and require you to saw the frame off)
50:02 The "recycling center" is named wrong - it's actually a sorting center, where you sort your stuff into your inventory. If it were actually a recycling center, you would sort it, sell it, and get paid for the materials.
I got too big for my boots and bought the most expensive boat before I was ready. An expensive mistake as I’m going to have to scrap it as it’s taking forever to cut through things with my weak ass saw
why does the prolog work with 8 gig of ram but the game is 12 gig i loved the first but i want this will it run on 6 gig > of ram with everything on low i want to play it so mutch but cba to send of my pc to upgrade it :D
Less cutting please! I wanted to see the 20 minutes of clean up after that incredible chain reaction collapse. That's one of the best parts, and I didn't get to see it.
For the life of me I can't explain why this is so immensely satisfying to watch.
It would be great if they add a few spray paint can colors to help mark area that are done/cleaned / important items like engines and stuff

@soupwizard hey I just wanted let you know I sent our ideas to the devs they said they added it to the list of things to do

Absolutely beautiful, this would be a fun job to do irl
Such a relaxing VOD. Thank you and more please.
1:58 that's a Big Chillin' ship
This was great! The pacing, the detail, gameplay. I loved every second of it. Watching someone competently play this game is immensely satisfying.

My favorite part is watching everything fall apart in the game

i liked this ship, blew a massive hole in it as didn't deal with the gas, yet somehow manged to fully scrap it

26:33 It said "the valve is closed." Which means you can safely saw the pipe down, some small explosions are expected
Hey Grill. Dunno if you have looked at the game Out Of Ore but if you enjoy this then it should be up your alley.
love this serie

An easier way to go through the water tight doors I’ve seen from another streamer is to hammer the panels and saw the frame around the door

27:00 "valve is closed"
Maybe just for kicks take only the panels and leave the skeleton
More!
cool

And the sorting! I missed that epic 480 some sort.
