I just watched the episode of Gumball where that scene is from and I feel so bad for Raph, that pained scream at the end is especially poignant if you've ever seen certain fanworks ,I'm sure he's absolutely traumatized by seeing that particular ship!😭

it is different than a lot of other universes but i think it’s actually kinda sweet considering how they’re portrayed in this version. Mona is a supersmart physics major and Donnie loves tech and they teach each other a lot of stuff and nerd out 2gether. also in the Sophie Campbell version Ralph has pulled his own bad bitch so i don’t think he cares

In most of the continuities she’s been in, Mona Lisa was a love interest for Raph, but in the Idw comics Raph already had a love interest (an Arctic fox named Alopex), so Mona Lisa had ship tease moments with Donnie instead
