I remember when I fasted for the very first time in my entire life, I was so addicted to smoking and I was so desperate to stop, I tried every method but didn’t work. I was going through depression so much and had so much anxiety that I was no longer interested in life. My friend encouraged me to fast and we did for 21 days and after that fasting within just a few days I had stopped smoking completely and my life changed for the better. My relationship with God was like never before, I had so much peace and even though getting a job at that time wasn’t even one my prayers because life was just uninteresting to me, I got jobs until I finally settled in one and let me tell you throughout all these jobs it was all the favor of God. Because how I even got them and passed the interviews is beyond me. God is good
I love your music, but I didn't know you're such a great teacher too. I was a bit sceptical about the value of fasting in the past and I didn't expect to enjoy this episode as much as I did. You break it down very well and you make it make sense from every angle. I hope you see yourself more as a teacher than just a vlogger, because there's a difference: one is a trending fad, the other is a sacred calling; one is what you do in front of a camera, the other is who you are in front of God. someone was like continue fasting maybe God will give you the things u want "I was like we do not fast because we want things from God we do it so whether or not those things come we will still go back to his feet for guidance and clarity and even when they do come we will know that it is not our own doing it is the God in us that did it.Fasting is to allow God to be and do what he wants to do with our selves its like dying to self so he can live in us.

Honestly I know how you feel. But in all that is happening we need to always remember that He's still God, He doesn't change, no matter the situation you going thru🥺. Jeremiah 29vs11 says "for I know the plans I have for you" declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future". This verse always reminds me that even when things seem to be going wrong, God has a plan for our lives and wants to bring us hope and a bright future. Yes it might take 2 yrs, 5yrs, 10yrs,even 20yrs, for the plan to unfold but fact is He's gon fulfill that promise,his a promise keeper afterall. Also another verse that I love is Ecclesiastes 3vs11 and it says "He has made everything beautiful in it's time" 🥺highlight the words *in it's time* meaning that sometimes it takes time for things to fall into place and for God's plans to unfold in our lives🥺but eventually everything's gon fall into place, AT THE RIGHT TIME... Remember the woman with the issue of blood, ma'am waited a whole 12yrs for her breakthru. Isaiah 60vs22? We all know this one "...when the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen", Trust in him. Have faith in Him. Don't stop praying and fasting bcoz you'll def get your breakthru. He's not man that He should lie, every promise he has made, He will FULFIL. Be patient and wait upon Him. He loves you❤️
There’s so many factors to “un answered prayers” I’ve actually done a video about it , it’s right on the channel, please check it out. But the big thing I want to share with you today is , pause , seek God and seek him wholeheartedly, then ALL and I mean Alllll these things will follow. For one second don’t go in there’ wanting anything from the giver but the Giver. Seek him. God knows our hearts and he speaks a lot to us and we miss it because he’s not saying thing we want to hear half the time. So just keep seeking Him and not His things or what he can do and watch everything follow you. Lastly trust God’s perfect timing , half the time things are right in front of our eyes but the time is just not right. Trust His perfect timing.
Okey about fasting I would like to add up something there that I know it may help us all in here as the body of Christ, Its good to fast but its of the best to fast with knowledge, Meaning the word of God, why...? Because in the spirit realm we dont see, we believe, so we believe and operate according to what we know...the more we know the more we operate easily, and we christians we get to know the spirit realm through the world of God Also when we are born again we know nothing about who we are supposed to be in the kingdom of God, so it's through knowing the scriptures and staying in the presence of God that will make us know who we are supposed to be according to the will of God, it being a preacher, evangelist, singer or anyone else, it comes from the word and his presence... This makes fasting more interesting and more targeting, why? Because we know how to do it, why we do it according to the word of God, there are somethings we wont pray much about them but declare them during fasting, because we know better... It doesn't mean we shouldn't fast until we fully know the word but as we keep on we should really dwell in the scriptures and God's presence so that we may know better on how to operate, acquire our authorities appropriately. Are we allowed to take breaks when fasting or we just spend the whole day praying and reading the word of God until the last day, and if we are allowed to take a break what does one do during their break
Your brain needs a break, your body needs some stretching too. So besides doing your normal day to day chores or being at work , you substitute the time you’d spend eating or making lunch for spending time with God ; read his word, pray , praise worship. The aim is to make the time worth it.
We need to assess some things Mara akere as well before we just conclude 😃 What is an SAPS assessment, is it something that requires physical ability , were you prepared and ready for it etc. remember what I said. Fasting is not a wish list or vending machine where you put in a prayer request and boom fasting bring it out nicely packaged. We do it to draw ourselves closer , get to know his voice more , hear him clearly about things like that assessment , so don’t be discouraged at all. It’s still under the plan

You can fast Anytime your spirit and heart feels like. I've heard of that law before I think it's a particular church that considers women being on their period "go šilafala" "unworthy" I think, but we are of Christ and live by grace! So yes! You don't stop fasting because you on your period it doesn't change anything

Every time I fast, I get stuck on when to break it and always discourages me because I feel like I'm not doing it right. Hi dear. It depends on the type of fast you are doing. If it's a three day fast you for 3days that is 36 hours straight. If you are doing a partial. You fast the whole day until after 6pm let's say may be you pray at 6pm then you can eat after that then do the same the next day for 3days😊
