It's really weird that you were able to play gears 3 and judgement without having Device lost error. Because on AMD GPUs it's mostly impossible to play gears series (and possibly most of unreal engine 3) without the emulator crashing after few minutes with the Graphics Device Lost error.

So you tested Midnight Club already, that's neat. A shame the game is locked at 30fps, didn't knew about that downside. And damn, Red Dead is looking good... do you know if the game is playable beginning to end, no bugs or anything?
I couldn't tell you if it can be played until the end but it worked much better for me in xenia than rpcs3, I don't remember any bugs, only that in the towns the fps dropped a bit but in 1440p it is completely playable and the midnight club los angeles yes it can be set to 60 fps but it had stuttering, it wasn't very stable apparently

A mi me va mucho mejor en xenia que en rpcs3 en el emulador del ps3 da bajones en los pueblos por ejemplo en 1440p en xenia en pueblos nunca baja de los 30 fps y en el emulador del ps3 en la misma zona llega a bajar hasta a 22 fps al menos el tiempo que jugue si se me hizo mejor en el emulador del 360.
Incluso en hardware original rdr es un malísimo port para ps3 no sé si la cagaron en el código porque va a 30fps poco estables cuando en teoría ps3 debería correrlo mucho mejor

It only happened to me in the prologue I had to put it with vulkan and I was able to pass that part and in the rest of the game it only happened to me 2 times and it hasn't happened to me again. I only had one problem besides that, the allies were shooting at me and they could kill me, I had to restart so it wouldn't happen. I hope you liked the video c:
No sabria decirte si de principio a fin es jugable pero en los 3 gears llevo como 2 horas jugadas en cada uno y sin problemas en 1440p, solo tuve un problema con el gears 3 en el prologo crasheaba lo tuve que cambiar de dx12 a vulkan y sin problemas pude pasar esa parte ya pasando del prologo lo puse en dx12 por que en vulkan no pude ponerlo a 1440p y en los otros 2 no tuve ningun problema en las 2 horas jugadas.

The bad thing about this emulator is that it doesn't have many options, just the patches or changing the resolution and the API and that's it. I think it's the shaders loading, until it fully loads you will have stuttering
when i do another play of gears of war 3 in the future this year it will run better as i went through it last year. now the shaders are all done no problems. just hope no bugs at 2 parts i had the beserker fight and the last boss to end game which had me floating, but i did finish it. one annoying problem i did face on gears 3 was when you go on deck with on the ship at beginning a.i controlled jace ends up shooting you and you die from his shots, he ends up circling you for a fews seconds shooting at you. dante's inferno i played all the way through on rpcs3 so i wont bother with the xenia version even though i would have liked it to display buttons for xbox its not a problem. the moment you realise your playing gears 2 and 3 and judgment on pc was amazing i had never played judgment before or gears 2 and 3 for many years since xbox was stolen. i played all those without the graphical enhancements the emulator has now.

@@TonyGames64 I raisesd all graphics on xenia for red dead looked great. Rpcs3 no problems at all Dante, I want to play conan I had on my 360. The Rpcs3 version flickers while the xenia version has no problems when I tested for a minute but only problem it has is no rumble. Rpcs3 has green block graphic error in the game where you raise the terrain to make cover and can lower again but the xenia version has flicker. Xenia Bourne great completed but it did crash rare times, but ps3 emulator shows it as distorted graphics. I would love uncharted to work well so can do the trilogy. Would love ghost recon advanced warfighter series work on xenia as collection complete on xenia. Also god of war 3 to work well on Rpcs3 without slow frames and crashing as did god war 1,2 and ghost sparta and chains ⛓ Olympus no problems. Shadows of damned ps3 emulator was good, also 50 cents blood in sand amazing fun on ps3 emulator. Rpsc3 also finished dead to rights retribution also, lollipop 🍭 chainsaw Rpcs3 no prpbos ps3 emulator.
yes there are some games that work better in xenia than in rpcs3 like midnight club, uncharted 1 has graphical problems but in performance it is playable and uncharted 2 has more graphical problems than 1 and it crashes all the time God of war 3 is playable but sometimes crashes The best play 3 games are the ones that have the most problems in the emulator unfortunately haha
@@TonyGames64 Do you still play the game all way through even if vibration don't work. Captain usa don't have vibration but when tested earlier it has one vibration when enemy was down. Same as conan 360 version rumble but flickering. Rpcs3 version no flickering but no vibration.
le puse el 5 user_language = 5 que es español pero tambien depende del juego si lo tienes en español latino como los gears que tenian el español latino integrado
me fue mucho mejor en el emulador del 360, en el emulador del play 3 me daba bajones cuando estaba de dia solo era estable cuando el juego estaba de noche y eso no pasa en el del 360 en este corre sin problemas lo unico que tiene es que si lo puedo poner a 60 fps pero da tirones no se por que pero si lo pongo a 30 sin problemas el juego totalmente jugable

Te sale un error al iniciar la misión? Por que eso me pasó pero en esa parte lo puse con vulkan para ver si funcionaba y si funcionó ya solo pasando esa pequeña parte lo puse otra vez con dx12 y ya sin problemas y no sabía que con la versión máster funcionaba sin problemas tendré que probar ahora los juegos en las dos versiones jajaja
@@TonyGames64 No, directamente no me inicia el juego en la version canary. Y quiero probarlo ahi para ver si hay mejora de rendimiento como si noto en otros juegos entre la version master y canary. Intentare usar vulkan aunque recuerdo hace mucho lo hice y no me funcionó.
@@rigdekai3388 Es raro no se si tenga que ver con la pc, en lo que hice el video probe como 15 juegos y unos 3 o 4 no me funcionaron y veia gameplays de gente jugando esos juegos como si nada no se si tenga que ver eso los componentes y si intentalo a ver si te funciona al menos a mi me ha funcionado 3 veces eso con el halo 3, forza horizon y gears 3 los 3 se crasheaba el juego justo al empezar y haciendo eso con vulkan pude jugarlos .

I didn't see many options only patches to remove some game effects and to fix some game errors and the resolution mm you could try with a lower resolution and also with the patches to see if it improves the performance of the game.

Ive played it from beginnning to end. theres a bug that makes completing one of the missions difficult though.

Entonces todos los Gears son jugables a 60fps constantes 1440p de principio a fin con tu configuración?

Yes, playing gears of war on pc is worth it in 1440p most of the time it goes to 60 fps even though I have the xbox series x and they can be played now with graphic improvements I wanted to see how it looked on pc haha
@@TonyGames64 I raisesd all graphics on xenia for red dead looked great. Rpcs3 no problems at all Dante, I want to play conan I had on my 360. The Rpcs3 version flickers while the xenia version has no problems when I tested for a minute but only problem it has is no rumble. Rpcs3 has green block graphic error in the game where you raise the terrain to make cover and can lower again but the xenia version has flicker. Xenia Bourne great completed but it did crash rare times, but ps3 emulator shows it as distorted graphics. I would love uncharted to work well so can do the trilogy. Would love ghost recon advanced warfighter series work on xenia as collection complete on xenia. Also god of war 3 to work well on Rpcs3 without slow frames and crashing as did god war 1,2 and ghost sparta and chains ⛓ Olympus no problems. Shadows of damned ps3 emulator was good, also 50 cents blood in sand amazing fun on ps3 emulator. Rpsc3 also finished dead to rights retribution also, lollipop 🍭 chainsaw Rpcs3 no prpbos ps3 emulator.
yes there are some games that work better in xenia than in rpcs3 like midnight club, uncharted 1 has graphical problems but in performance it is playable and uncharted 2 has more graphical problems than 1 and it crashes all the time
God of war 3 is playable but sometimes crashes
The best play 3 games are the ones that have the most problems in the emulator unfortunately haha
@@TonyGames64 Do you still play the game all way through even if vibration don't work. Captain usa don't have vibration but when tested earlier it has one vibration when enemy was down. Same as conan 360 version rumble but flickering. Rpcs3 version no flickering but no vibration.

me fue mucho mejor en el emulador del 360, en el emulador del play 3 me daba bajones cuando estaba de dia solo era estable cuando el juego estaba de noche y eso no pasa en el del 360 en este corre sin problemas lo unico que tiene es que si lo puedo poner a 60 fps pero da tirones no se por que pero si lo pongo a 30 sin problemas el juego totalmente jugable

si tienes xenia canary el documento se llama xenia-canary.config

Te sale un error al iniciar la misión? Por que eso me pasó pero en esa parte lo puse con vulkan para ver si funcionaba y si funcionó ya solo pasando esa pequeña parte lo puse otra vez con dx12 y ya sin problemas y no sabía que con la versión máster funcionaba sin problemas tendré que probar ahora los juegos en las dos versiones jajaja
@@TonyGames64 No, directamente no me inicia el juego en la version canary. Y quiero probarlo ahi para ver si hay mejora de rendimiento como si noto en otros juegos entre la version master y canary. Intentare usar vulkan aunque recuerdo hace mucho lo hice y no me funcionó.
@@rigdekai3388 Es raro no se si tenga que ver con la pc, en lo que hice el video probe como 15 juegos y unos 3 o 4 no me funcionaron y veia gameplays de gente jugando esos juegos como si nada no se si tenga que ver eso los componentes y si intentalo a ver si te funciona al menos a mi me ha funcionado 3 veces eso con el halo 3, forza horizon y gears 3 los 3 se crasheaba el juego justo al empezar y haciendo eso con vulkan pude jugarlos .

In the xenia.config file look for this line

when x=1, y=1 it is 720p
to put it at 1440p it's like this
draw_resolution_scale_x = 2

draw_resolution_scale_x = 3

You just have to change the values of those lines to put it in either 1440p or 4k
The file can be found in documents/xenia or in the same folder where you put the emulator
If you have xenia canary the document is called xenia-canary.config
So heavy on the gpu compared to rpcs3, but then again rpcs3 is heavy on the cpu
exactly sometimes in the ps3 emulator the cpu bottlenecks in some games for example twisted metal and the xbox emulator does not use the cpu so much.

@@TonyGames64 ahhh esque yo le movía donde se cambia la resolución nativa y hay se podía cambiar hay el número 16 , porque por defecto tiene 8 creo.
Pero no notaba cambio alguno.
@@A--20 si 8 es 720p y 16 1080p no hay mucha diferencia realmente lo mejor es dejarlo en 8 y moverle al multiplicador para que lo pongas a 1440p o 4k

I didn't see many options only patches to remove some game effects and to fix some game errors and the resolution mm you could try with a lower resolution and also with the patches to see if it improves the performance of the game.

@@mm-uw5pz Does that happen at the start of the game? It crashed at first, I couldn't get past the prologue, I had to put it with vulkan to get past that part and I changed it to dx12, passing the prologue
After that I don't crash anymore

Only the prologue after you already start the first mission you change it to gpu = "any" again
