I was born in sekondi and yes European town gets it name because back in the days, most of the whites leaves in European town,you can see the structure of the buildings,when you pass the post office there a place called abrofo boller(white peoples trash dump) we used to go there to look thru their trash, there is regional office and when you pass the railway station there is information service back in the days there was no cellphone or phones period so if there is a news to be broadcast the information service drives around with their car and broadcast throughout sekondi and after the information service you will go to (PWD ) public works department they all in European town area

The colonial buildings are beautiful but there are no trees, too much kiosks by the road side. They should maintain the buildings for history.
