Is it getting hot in here? Maybe my AC is broken or maybe it is my weighted blanket.
Weighted blankets often make me sleep very hot but I can say, right off the bat, that the Luxome weighted blanket did not.
Luxome’s cooling weighted blanket comes with a bamboo duvet cover that is oh so cool. It is cool to the touch and draws excess heat away from my body. It’s honestly pretty fantastic.
While I went with the bamboo duvet cover, there are many other cover options to choose from. There are Minky covers with a few designs as well as covers with both Minky and bamboo.
The weighted blanket ties into the duvet cover with the help of numerous duvet tabs. The blanket won’t move around inside the duvet cover too much.
The Luxome weighted blanket is also very high-quality. I would recommend the Luxome blanket to those who want something durable and luxury.

The Luxome weighted blanket might not be for everyone, however. First off, those who want a more affordable weighted blanket might want to look elsewhere. This is a high-quality weighted blanket and might be a bit too pricey for some.
Luxome doesn’t offer very many weight and size options. There are really only three options to choose from, so those who want to choose a very specific weight might not find it with the Luxome.
Finally, I’ve got just one more note on the cover. The bamboo cover is sleek, smooth, and not very cozy. Those who prefer something cozy that they can cuddle up with should consider one of Luxome’s Minky duvet covers.

I am also a hot sleeper and that is why i never got into weighted blankets but i think the Luxome cooling blanket is finally the one for me. I would go with the bamboo one 15lbs. Thanks for the recommendation. Looking forward to future videos. Keep up the good work👍

Looking for a weighted blanket for my son, he is always warm when he sleeps, so this looks like a great choice for him.
I really like the look of this, but they don't offer the weight I would need.
I can relate to being a hot sleeper! I usually sleep with one foot under the blankets and one out, thinking that somehow that will regulate my temp LOL! You've sold me on the Luxome with the invisible zippers and extra toes as a bonus. I also like the bamboo!
It is an impressive blanket
Excellent blanket, one side of duvet is for summer (Bamboo) and the other for winter (Velvet minky fabric), perfect weight distribution, not too heavy
After a day and a half of nonstop research I finally decided on the luxome. I was thinking of the honeybird but I wanted something cooler. Thanks mattress clarity!
This blanket looks comfortable, it is nice to see a cool weighted blanket, I would have not known if you did not review this one. I like it is washable in my washer at home.

I love the idea of a weighted blanket that sleeps cool. The cover looks really nice and I think the 8 pound blanket would work for me (I don't need it to cover the whole bed).
I would look at the 15" actually. The 8" is pretty small from my understanding.

Hi, are their cooling blankets still warm? Or should i get a minky for winter then cooling for summer? I sleep by hot and wake up in sweat. But i got a new memory foam mattress and eucalyptus sheets. My vent is closed sometimes and both windows are cracked open at night. I also sleep by a window.
Hello! Cooling blankets still add a bit of warmth. However, if you are worried that it will be too warm for the colder months, you can just take off the cooling duvet cover and maybe throw a comforter over the top as well.

That nobody is mentioning that this blanket is made of glass is crazy to me. Is using glass as a filler standard in weighted blankets? Waking up bleeding may counter the cooling effects of this blanket
Glass is more of a high end filler and they’re usually bead like so you wont stab yourself.
Well of course in their current state but what if they start to break?
@@notonelessonobviously3769 They're small enough so breaking them will be difficult. It's like trying to break a tiny tiny bead. I highly doubt they'll break when you're sleeping under them or over them.

I’ve had one for many months and no they don’t break. You do hear them rustling (think children’s rainmaker toy) when you move around and it’s really quiet.

What makes this not a good “cuddle” option
It's just a little too wide, and with the cooling design, it's not something warm that I like to wrap around me when I'm on the couch or in a chair.

I like the breathable, bamboo cover and extra ties, but I do prefer 20-25lbs for my weighted blankets.

I'd like more weight but the cover on this blanket makes it tempting. The cooling effect is a big plus and being able to wash both (cover and blanket) is a nice feature.. But I would want to buy the largest size (heaviest) and spending that much is out of my league.
Yeah, it is very nice, but I agree that it is on the pricier side.
As a hot sleeper happy to see a cooler option to the traditional weighted blanket, unsure about weight options as I haven't tried one yet
It is definitely cool at night. I would also look at the Bearaby if you sleep hot.

I've been looking at the weighted blankets. There are so many options I'm just slightly confused on which is going to be the best option for me. I know the right weight but I'm not sure which company makes the best option for me. I'm stuck in bed as I've stated before due to my disability. I'm in severe pain 24/7 and I twitch alot at night. I also have problems sleeping due to the pain so I'm getting between 20 to 45 mins tops before I'm waking up. Can you help me with what's going to be the best option? I'm on SSI disability so if I'm able to save enough I need to make sure I get the best one for me. Can you tell me which you think would be best??
