Democratic President Joe Biden and his Republican predecessor, Donald Trump, square off on Thursday at a highly anticipated debate with a new set of rules in place. In a bid to avoid cross-talk, host CNN will mute the candidates' microphones will when it is not their turn to speak. The debate will also take place without an audience, and neither candidate is allowed to bring prepared notes or props.
