Creating a Cake Topper Template with Acetate

Create a template for a 2D Cake Topper with thin acetate:
- Trace the image with sharpie on the acetate
- Cut out with scissors or a sharp craft blade
- Use the cut out as a template to cut around on thin (about .5cm) rolled fondant or gum paste. Add tylose to fondant to help it dry hard.
- Insert cocktail sticks in the base and set aside to dry
Use the same technique to create templates for hand cut cookies or cake shapes.
Acetate used came in mud cake packaging from Bake Me Up.
