Man i wanna do this so bad but idk, im just starting, self taught at 42 and things come much harder for me . I grew up around awesome musicians so i guess some rubbed off but not with finger picking. Im not even really understanding how you do it. I get the chord make up but its definitely not always in same order, like c, e, d. Im reignited. How did u learn?
It’s never to late to start playing, I started when I was around 12 and had some guitar classes but I started with the fingerpicking and fingerstyle much later so that is self taught.
I suggest you to start practise to fingerpick chords and to switch between chords, start slowly and when you get more used to it you will be able to switch quicker and find the strings easier.
