Thanks for the vid guys. The first time I went I was 14 pounds heavier than I am now and I got red on both test seats for rip ride rocket. However I still went up and tried it, they got me on the ride with the ride op helping push the bar down a little. My point is that the test seats are not always accurate so if you think you're close just try the actually ride if you're comfortable with it.
This makes me feel a little better. I gained weight from health issues and this is the first vacation I’ve ever taken. I forgot completely about my size and am terrified I won’t be able to enjoy the park like I want to.
Thank you so much for your video! As a plus size gal about ready to visit universal studios with family this June, I was nervous about getting on the rides. This has eased my mind and I greatly appreciate it!
I always wanted to visit there for Hulk coaster, but can fit on the normal single seat belt on Raptor Rougarou, Batman the ride, Afterburn at Carowinds in Charlotte NC, and Dominator at Kings Dominion in Doswell Virginia.
If you’re comfortable sharing, what is your height and weight? I’m going to Unviseral Orlando with my family next week and I’m anxious about fitting on the rides. TYSM for the vid!!!
Thanks for sharing ! I was an 18 but gained weight and now a 20 and am so nervous !!! I’m going tomorrow with my family and I’m so happy you posted this ! Thank you for putting this out here your beautiful Steph !
Hi, Steph did manage to get on Forbidden Journey the first time we went. The ride does have a test seat at the entrance so you can try that before joining the queue. That was the one ride we forgot to show.
Hi, no not yet we hope to do one in the future. Also we didnt go on forbidden journey so unsure but it does have a test seat outside the ride entrance.
Let's also not forget that safety systems have their limit and need only cater for the majority of people. But I agree with what you said, if Kingda Ka had a train load of people 300lb plus it wouldn't make it over the top.
America has an even worse obesity problem than the UK so yeah most of their rides can cater for big people. Losing weight will improve your health and wellbeing though.

Did Steph manage to ride Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey as that looks quite tight
Hi, Steph did manage to get on Forbidden Journey the first time we went. The ride does have a test seat at the entrance so you can try that before joining the queue. That was the one ride we forgot to show.
This video is amazing. Thank you so so much!!
Thank you. No problem. 😊
Hope you don’t mind me asking, what clothes size are you? Just for size reference
Hi, no not at all. Steph is a size 20-22. 😊
With the red one do they MAKE you try the test seat? Like take you out of the queue and make you sit on it?
Hi, no not that I know of. The test seats are there just for reassurance that you will fit on the ride before joining the queue. 😊
Are you putting a Busch Gardens test seat vid out? 😊
Also did you manage forbidden journey? I hear that's got smaller seats..
Hi, no not yet we hope to do one in the future. Also we didnt go on forbidden journey so unsure but it does have a test seat outside the ride entrance.
@@StephandPhoebe ok thanks!
Really helpful. Thanks 😊
Would be great of you could give your measurements. I carry my weight in my chest and stomach and worried about going in 2 weeks
Hi, steph has a chest measurement of 53 inch, and a stomach measurement of 51 inch. Hope this helps. 😊
@StephandPhoebe that's great, its almost the same as mine. Thank you so much!
Have you tried harry potter forbidden journey?
Hi, yes Steph managed to get on it. They do have a test seat outside the ride entrance, we just forgot to film it.
Thanks for this was kicked off Hogwarts ride a few months back and it was terribly embarrassing and they were so rude
Great vid :) it alleviates fears for folks. I think UK plus size people will generally be OK at Universal.
Thank you. It hopefully gives anyone that bit of reassurance they need before visiting.
Thank you!!!
No problem. 😊
More mass causes maintenance periods to be closer due to added wear on the track and cars. This costs the company more overhead and less profit.
Let's also not forget that safety systems have their limit and need only cater for the majority of people. But I agree with what you said, if Kingda Ka had a train load of people 300lb plus it wouldn't make it over the top.
Hip, waist, and thigh measurements please?
Hi, we dont know our measurements but Steph is a size 20-22 (UK), if this helps.
America has an even worse obesity problem than the UK so yeah most of their rides can cater for big people.

Stop filling your face and you might fit
