Today on Exploring the Marketplace with Shawn Bolz and , we explore the inspiring journey of Lee and Cindi Whitman, who followed God’s call to lead Restoring the Foundations (RTF) Ministries. They took over from founders Chester and Betsy Kylstra in 2015 and have since made a profound impact.
Lee, a former pastor and Christian counselor, and Cindi, who served in various church roles, have been married since 1979 and are dedicated to helping others find healing and freedom through Jesus. They live in Nashville, Tennessee, with their three grown children, two daughters-in-law, and eight grandchildren.
Their story began in 2008 when they felt God telling them to "get out of the boat," leading them to leave their established careers and venture into new territory. Despite financial struggles, they trusted God's provision and witnessed miraculous support, including a pivotal $10,000 check that enabled their RTF training.
Since then, they have experienced remarkable favor and opportunities, including teaching at YWAM Kona and speaking at international conferences. In 2014, they were chosen by the founders to be the new leaders of RTF, a role they embraced with faith and obedience.

"RTF" has changed my life, forever. I didn't realize the ungodly beliefs, false identities and heart wounds I was living out of. The hurts we suffer as children shape and form our belief system and that foundation, once restored and healed, will change your life and bring your into a much richer relationship with the Lord and those around you. After I went through ministry, I was led to become an RTF Minister. I had prayed many times to see God's miracles with my own eyes and I do through ministering with Restoring the Foundations. What a powerful interview. I hope that many in the audience will investigate receiving Restoring the Foundations (RTF) ministry. I did, and it was life changing. Because of Bob and Shawn’s professional expertise and their personal experience with RTF, they captured the heart of RTF as they asked targeted questions. Lee and Cindi Whitman presented a motivating, humorous, inspiring view of RTF. This is well worth the time it takes to watch/listen.
