    I was given a CD of Krishna Das about a year ago. I play it in my car. It is the most amazing CD I've ever heard, an Krishna Das' voice is magic, filled with passion and love, I end up crying of such great love that fills my car and my heart...I Love Him and his Voice.
    Krisha, Ram.

    Thank you for sharing this, Krishna Das. You talk about that 'bloop' in your chest. I get that emotionally every time I write anything to you. I often start wanting to write such a small comment and then I feel I need to extend it to get all the love and emotion in, and I never can. You know . . . . :-) A smile with tears in my eyes. Happy tears, love tears.

      I agree WOW!! I was not going to listen to it as its so long but your comment made me curious so I went to 37mins .. such deep wisdom from years of regular & sustained practice. I know we can all find these realisations if we take the time & discipline required for sadhana but to do it is another thing. Thank you so much for your comment, one never knows how far & wide the vibrations of our own actions will reach. Gratitude & Blessings to you x

    KD! Hope you'll take in Dublin, Ireland on your next world tour. I do believe there's enough faithful to justify such a stop off. While many of us would welcome a second coming of Jesus Christ (JC), we would settle for a second coming of Krishna Das (KD) in the meantime.

    "It is with the inward-going mind that you eliminate the outward-going mind. You do not set about saying there is a mind and I'm going to kill it, but you seek the source of the mind. Then you will find that the mind does not exist at all. The mind, turned outwards, results in thoughts and objects. Turned inwards, it becomes itself the Self. To ask the mind to kill the mind is like making the thief the policeman. He will go with you and pretend to catch the thief, but nothing will be gained. So you must turn inward and see from where the mind rises and then it will cease to exist. Whenever you are disturbed by thoughts you need merely withdraw within to the Self. This is not concentration or destruction of the mind but withdrawal into the Self. The degree of the absence of thoughts is the measure of your progress towards Self-realization. But Self-realization itself does not admit of progress, it is ever the same. The Self remains always in realization. The obstacles are thoughts. Progress is measured by the degree of removal of the obstacles to understanding that the Self is always realized. So thoughts must be checked by seeking to whom they arise. Go to their source and they will not arise."
    The beautiful quote by Ramana Maharshi that Krishna Das referenced in the video, courtesy of google.

    Really beautiful music which lightens and lights up the day.
    But I wish you would, in the description of the video, provide a list the names of the chants along with their starting times and ending times in the video. Just asking: it would be especially helpful for people who aren't familiar with your music.

    great! but one thing: karma was a racist, classist system enforced by the Aryans to prevent intermarriage with the Dravidians. Abused animals are not abused because they have have had past karma----this line of thought is dangerous and oppressive to the suffering. do all those starving african children just have bad karma???come on- think deeper --God is not so cruel.

    • @vinamrasinghai7319
      @vinamrasinghai7319 6 років тому +1

      There is no genetic evidence for that. You are confused between karma and dharma. A tiger eating a deer is dharma of tiger. God is cruel or not?
