Can anyone please explain this with all the new 2024 updates on this? Shopify Balance now offers 3.8% APY. Does the money stay within Shopify and you can withdraw as you please with the account gaining interest month after month?
Correct me if I'm wrong but this Shopify Balance comes with benefits such as cashback even though it is a debit card, but the balance is solely based off of the amount you have put into it and does not have a credit balance whatsoever?
I just created a Shopify balance online account and it gave me an account number and a routing number. The numbers they gave me aren’t my real ones from my bank. Is that normal? Are those just made up for the Shopify balance account?

Exactly, it’s not a credit card. You can only use what you have in there. From paid orders or from money you put in.

Not sure if there is one better than the rest, but I use BoA and Wells. Business accounts.

That is your “shopify bank info”. If you want to send money to your Shopify balance account send it to those numbers
