Just purchased mine recently during their black friday sale. Fitted a week or two ago and I'm hugely impressed. Just the increase in steering speed makes it worth it, let alone all the extra angle. Awesome video as per usual!
@@TimCowleyDrift awesome! Still after this long running great?? I installed my yesterday and I have a slight creaking sound when I turn to the right. Don’t see anything binding up. Any ideas? - thanks
How much angle will just cutting my bump stops without installing this kit or doing any other modifications give me? I'm not looking to do any hardcore drifting or anything just want to improve my turning radius a bit. My car is a 2012 FBO 6mt G37 coupe. I think stock angle is 37 degrees I'd like about 40-45 nothing to extreme.
With the angle kit I don’t think I’m even using the extra travel of the rack at the moment. If you’re gonna get the kit I don’t think you need the spacers
Currently have more Ackerman setting feels more like stock. I believe it gives a bit more angle on the lead wheel and less on the trailing wheel. I’d like to try the low Ackerman setting
Did you run into any electronic issues? I hear people saying that traction control freaks out as well as abs. I want this kit but my z is still a street car and my daily so I want it to be all good in that regard
@@TimCowleyDrift oh crap you're the same guy with the drift switch video!! LOL that's crazy, I have a 2015 Z and I think you said in the video (or maybe it was someone in the comments) that it doesn't work for 2013+ models. I'm still planning on trying it soon just to see. I'm gonna drift my Z at stock angle for a while before I do these things tho
@@TimCowleyDrift good to know. I don't plan on any left foot braking kinda maneuvers but it would be nice to do a burnout once in a while. I guess I'd just pull the fuse for that when that's the case. Thanks so much man
What is it like to drive with such quick steering? Like, if you go 120mph or faster, can you even be stable, or is the steering too quick for that?
Still very stable. You don’t even notice unless you drive something else
@@TimCowleyDrift Thanks a lot for such a quick response!

Hell yea!! Couldn’t agree more, and thank you!
Hey bro are you still running this kit?
Yup

Yea mine creak occasionally as well I just spray a little white lithium grease in the boots and it goes away for a while.

Just cutting the stops should get you around there. I can’t say for sure because I did the stops and rack spacers at the same time and got to high 40s
What's the split pin that you used so that you didn't have to slot it? Going to be purchasing this kit soon.
The slotted pins come with the kit for Ackerman adjustment
What’s the point of rack spacer ? Currently building a 37 sedan
Allows the rack to travel more
@@TimCowleyDrift yeah just watched gk techs video rn did you ever do anything else so it wouldn’t hit where it was hitting in the video ?
Nothing yet. Car has plenty of angle. I hardly ever touch lock
Do you recommend running both the rack spacer & angle kit or jus the angle kit alone ?

@@TimCowleyDrift do you run your kit with more ackerman (more lead wheel less trailing) or less ackerman (near parallel angle)
@@TimCowleyDrift which one gives you more angle

Check out my other video on how to disable all that 😉😉

The yaw sensor part works. It’s just the other use of killing the brake signal for left foot braking I’ve heard doesn’t work on 13+

Yup that should do it if need be
When I try to undo my drivers side strut bolt it just keeps spinning, did I break something?
Lower bolt?
@@TimCowleyDriftYeah the bigger lower bolt that holds on the strut and lock stop bracket.
You probably need to put a wrench on the other side
@@TimCowleyDrift There was but I think I may have stripped the bolt on that side... Might be buying a new front sway bar end link it seems
Your channel makes me want a Z! Haha congratulations men!
GET ONE! They’re amazing!!
Love the channel man keep posting 🤘
Working on it! Thanks!
