According to my math, with a 200 card base set, a new numbered parallel to 499 means they can print another 50,000 (!) boxes compared to last year (at two per box). Yikes.

Actually not that bad of a price hike, so far. Thought they’d start a bit higher off the bat... As, within a month or two, they’ll probably be going up to $180-$200 a box.
I havent pulled a good card in 10+ boxes now... My 2 autos was of Kegan Kolesaar and Ian Mitchell.

They add more parallels so they can try to disguise the ever-exploding print runs. I miss 5 years ago when we could pay way less for a much better chance at good cards.

So how is Platinum different than Allure? Both big parallel sets, don't see to offer much different than the other.
I find that Panini products look more exciting and majestic!
They are also 10x the price for example donruss which is like the o pee chee of football is $400 USD for a 18 pack box
