- Me playing to a BLAZING tune from JT's latest record, 20/20 Experience. This song is more than a "pop" tune, it crosses many different genres to create a fusion of latin, soul, pop, and r&b flavors. I tried to just PLAY THE RECORD with a LIVE feel. I've never heard the Tennessee Kids play it live so I hope Ido it SOME justice! There are ALOT of musical elements i tried to catch. LOL I had fun playing it and hope you have fun watchin!....LET THE GROOVE GET IN!

Remember seeing this video 9 years ago. 5 years drumming now and for some reason I remembered this video today. So I thought maybe it’s not that tough. So after 15 mins finding the video I watched it and decided to give up drumming again 🤣🤣🤣 man is a machine!!!

stretchcity It took some time, i like to pay attention to detail. Thats what makes a song FEEL good which is SO IMPORTANT in music. This song was an open canvas for me to explore a lot of different musical textures and combine then into one! thanks for listening!
This man is a master. Not only does he have chops but he plays musically, listening to the song, the structure, the changes of mood, knowing it all by memory. He uses the entire set the way it should be: tastefully, not trying to hit as many notes and make as much noise as possible. A master knows that often less is more; for this reason you can see that he often leaves a lot of open space between beats. And finally, who uses a cowbell these days? Only a master can incorporate the cowbell so naturally.

Gospel drummers are so lucky they basically get to play whatever they feel in musical situation it's almost like the song is like a metronome for them just to create a new stuff over I got to do that once in a recording studio with a guy said three-quarters of the way through the song I could just so low and get nuts I thought God I just smile down upon me
