How to Hide & Lock Apps in iOS 18 | Quick & Easy

In iOS 18 we can now finally Lock & Hide apps. In previous iOS versions you had to do this method with the shortcuts app. Now Apple has made it really simple & easy to lock apps and hide apps in iOS 18.

This feature sucks, I was trying to hide an app that I use for widgets just to declutter my App Librar, when you hide an app all the associated widgets also get deleted and can’t be added.

So you can hide them all you want, but if someone gets your phone and knows your passcode they can just access them anyway?

😂Is having an app lock that isn’t your passcode be too hard because you’d have to remember two numbers? Some of us do have that capacity you know.

@@bluenosepe thats not the case with new update. App lock with face ID only opens with face ID and passcode screen doesn’t pop up if it doesn’t recognise face.
