Thanks for the tutorial. As freecad is probably not the most intuitive CAD System, it is super helpful to not have to find out all the tricks by myself. Anyway, it's a nice program if you know how to use it.
Thanks for video. Why cant i see different line types and thinknes from ArchWB Drawing (from lines) - as a result only one type and thiknes, one text size? FC 0.19
I would recommend you to update to FreeCAD 1.0. I am not sure if 0.19 supports line types and line thickness in TechDraw_DraftView. Also make sure you are using TechDraw_DraftView, not the plain TechDraw_View - this one does not support displaying line styles and line thickness of draft objects.
You need to change number of decimals in FreeCAD. Go to Edit -> Preferences -> General -> Number of decimals . I guess your current setting is 1, change it to 2 or 3. It is a bit unfortunate, that the scale can not be changed independently of this setting, because it can add unwanted precision to your project. But that is the way it works in FreeCAD 1.0
@@FCBlounge Oh... nice... I didn't think that the expressions could overule general prefs... Is there any chance that a better integration of Draft WB in TechDraw is on its way in a near future? (as highlighted in the end of the video)?
@@polpero I do not know if better integration of Draft is in the near future. I know that the developers are conscious about the limitations. The question is when will they find enough time to fix these.

At about 6:20 you manage to fix the scale of the view to .05... how come I can't get lower to 0.1? unable to enter 2 digits...

You may also use expression (the blue circle in the scale field) to insert numbers smaller than the precision you set.
