Loved this line, " We wanted to pay a tribute to the Indian film Industry."❤ Awww
❤️🙏
"Indian film industry"
Exactly 💯
@@mohitsinghania5155 I made an error while typing
@@bhavna1051 Because be it Hollywood, Tollywood, Bhojpuri movies or Punjabi/Gujrati/Marathi/Bengali movies, there's a dance sequence.
Love that you said ‘Indian film Industry’ instead of Bollywood ❤
Yes, that was deliberate :) Even though we love Bollywood and do not feel this name has any bad connotation to it.
Right❤
For ur kind information it is inspired by Bollywood
I love that it felt like a western couple just having fun and letting go at a wedding that most Americans dont fet to experience and (I'm a cynic) who could not stop smiling during the scene
Hahaha they are supposed to be embarrassed and goofy during all of this scene, which they manage quite well :)
It’s beautiful to see more of the Indian culture in Western movies
True! And we are happy to be part of this trend!
OMG, I love the energy of Mahina and Avishai. They come across as so calm and centered something I have seen only a few dancers being able to channel.
Thank you for your sweet comment, dear Shashi! "Murder Mystery 2" was like a tornado on us, so we had to preserve some kind of inner calm :)
Thank u ma'am for representing our Indian culture 🙏 ❤️
😊❤️🙏
stupid culture
Amazing, great achievement @Mahina Khanum !
Thank you very much!
It came out yesterday, and yet I’ve watched it 7 times already.
The first one, I probaly watched over 100 times, no joke. Best movies ever. Hopefully there will be a 3rd❤❤
Whoever is into comedy should definitely not miss Murder Mystery! 🤩
Man this movie felt like Home when the celebration started
Wah, nicest compliment! Thank you!
You guys are absolutely amazing! I've seen a lot of your work, and I'm really happy that you guys are getting this chance to shine!
Oh... thank you so much, this is really heartwarming! Lots of love from Paris and God bless you!
@@MahinaKhanum 💕💕
Awesome... Avinash Vishwajit music is amazing. Loved every bit of it
Yes definitely! "King Dee Wedding" is a killer song. I really hope Netflix will release it soon.
Oh wow! I already am a big fan of you, and then I watched this movie last night. So glad to see you wonderful work.
Thank you so much!
Totally awesome! A feel where everybody is focused on celebrating where the mystery happens! 😀
Hahaha indeed! Thank you! 🙂
This is the best movie I have watched in a long time, esp for me because so like comedies more. So much fun to watch from beginning to end. Also, it is so wonderful to see something like Bollywood being taken away from is original makers and being used by everyone else as a palate that they can try to put their own creativity in. This is so good because it says that this is no longer something that is a local thing that can be only found in one place, and now creates from all around the world can pkay, create, have fun with, and spread joy through this created genre. So much fun to watch and see!!!
Thank you so much dear Thwisha for such open-mindedness! This is exactly the spirit that animated us while creating this scene. As a professional Odissi dancer originating from France, I have spent most of my life trying to "normalize" Indian culture within the Western culture, with the help of my partner Avishai Leger-Tanger. In this regard, we consider the Indian wedding scene in Murder Mystery 2 a great personal achievement. Hopefully, this will contribute to get Indian culture all the global recognition it deserves.
You did a brilliant job. The song and the choreography are fantastic - it's very addictive and enjoyable!
So happy to read this! Thank you very much, on behalf of all those who worked hard on this scene :)
Wonderful dance by the group.
Thank you!
murder mystery 2 ❤❤

Love from odisha ❤
Thank you very much! Love from Paris and much respect to Odisha :)
@@MahinaKhanum thank you mam ❤️💐🙏
Amazing!!! Bravo Mahina and team
Thank you very much dear Manoj!
*I have seen this movie, its Hindi dubbing is the best dubbing ever, I have seen this movie in both English and Hindi language, but Hindi version has very good comedy because there funny dialogues were improvised, because of that very good humor came out.*
*I like Hindi & Punjabi language very much because one word of English has 4-5 words in Hindi & Punjabi, so a lot of humor can be extracted from Hindi & Punjabi languages to make comedy movies.*
*If Hindi & Punjabi language was understood worldwide then I am 100% sure that Hindi & Punjabi songs and movies would have been very popular in the world.*
This was beautiful. Congrats Mahina
Thank you very much!
Hehe, i have seen the part 1 last few days, and now continue with part 2, very very exciting
Enjoy! ❤️🙏
I am literally in love with the song.❤❤❤❤ is it possible to download somewhere?
This is amazing!! How can I get the song?? It's so beautiful!
Thank you! The song is called "King Dee Wedding" by the Mumbai-based duet Avinash-Vishwajeet. It has not been released yet, but I do hope Netflix will release it someday.
Thank you for that! Is there a tutorial of the dance anywhere?? Would love to learn it!
K-pop is big but Indian dance is way bigger then any thing. Now this is some soft power 🫡😉
And we are proud to be part of that soft power and contribute to get the Indian culture the global recognition it deserves!
This is perfect way way better than that eternals song this is proper representation song and choreography is something which can easily be in a bollywood movie
Thank you very much! It feels great that you are liking the scene, and the fact that you consider the choreo to be on par with Bollywood is the best compliment ever!
All your hard work is visible in the main video❤️
It looks like a real wedding here in India, and not just cringe that Western shows usually portray about us
Kudos to you Mahina and the entire team🙏
Thank you very much! ❤️😊🙏
Thank you very much! ❤️😊🙏

I thought of Americas Got Talent winner 2022, The Mayyas dance group
Had not seen that one, thanks for making me acquainted with the Mayyas!
Who sings that song? I’m trying to find it and I can’t anywhere. Great song though!
The singer is Farhad Bhivandiwala! You will not find the song for now as it has not been released by Netflix yet. Hopefully they release it soon.
Bollywood ❤️ Hollywood
❤️✨️
well ya guys tried
You mean, we failed?
Finally a Netflix movie that doesn't have a diverse cast just as a tool to demonize and villianize white people for no reason - this was a fun and action packed lil flick!! Adam Sandler was unexpectedly badass in his fight scenes and Jennifer Aniston was glowing in her witty and brave character. This was the perfect movie night!!
Movie Mei punjabi song vee hai # yaar jatt de /karan aujla
What song??
Well, check my answers to the other comments 😅
Est-ce que vous faites des cours de danse ?
Bonjour, oui ! Vous pouvez voir ici : www.mahinakhanum.com/
What is the name of song
"King Dee Wedding", by Avinash-Vishwajeet. It was specially composed for the movie. We do hope Netflix will release it soon.
@@MahinaKhanum thank you
Which country originally u from Mahina ??
France! But trained in India.
@@MahinaKhanum wow... Are u North African origin....,??
What song is this
It's "King Dee Wedding", by the Mumbai-based duet Avinash-Vishwajeet!
@MahinaKhanum thank you is this song available to download? I wanna use this for my wedding amazing song
@@shahrulmasud6021 I wish we could, and we sure would be very proud to see you dance on this song, unfortunately Netflix does not plan to release it for now.
@MahinaKhanum they really should will be a massive hit
@@shahrulmasud6021 That's what we keep telling them, together with Avinash & Vishwajeet. We're doing our best!
So in whole world they couldn't find a decent Indian Choreographer who would do justice to the sequence.
If "decent" means properly implementing the script, fulfilling the Director's and producers' expectations, and please the audience, then I think we were pretty decent.
@@MahinaKhanum Decent means, which actually resonates with Indian sentiments and not cliche moves put together, but then a non Indian wouldn't understand that.
Dance routine was boring, if not for the cast wouldn't have even seen it.
@@Priya-bt3oj Sounds like it did resonate with the Indian audience: "Murder Mystery 2" was the top 2 Netflix release in India. And as a professional Indian classical dancer and former ICCR grantee, trained under reputed gurus, I "the non-Indian" can teach you one thing: dance skills have much more to do with years of practice than with your nationality.
İ miss old Hollywood ❤️
Cringe bkbas bollywood
Somehow their tribute always ends up being a caricature. Not only this but many other flicks...like The Eternals... Hopelessly bad. There's no heart just movements and music being badly aped.
It's your right to feel like that. But before judging by a 2-minute extract on UA-cam, you might want to check the movie and see it in context. You might want to know that many Indians and people with a sincere knowledge about Indian culture contributed to this scene. Indian advisors have been hired, the composers are well established in the Marathi film industry, and I - the choreographer - am originally an Odissi classical dancer who dedicated my life to this art and spent years in India. If there was anything "caricatural" about this scene, in your opinion, at least consider it unitentional.
@@MahinaKhanum Have already seen it Mahina ji. Would never comment otherwise. Please do understand the final product is also mainly influenced by the director's vision and actors as well, not as much as the dance choreographer.
I thought it was beautifully done.
@@amardeepdhanju8404 Thank you! 🙏
You did a bollywood choreographed scene, and you hired non-bollywood people to do it?? Weird. That's like saying you're making an Avengers movie without any marvel superheroes in it.
A 'tribute to Bollywood' is not 'Bollywood', by definition. To pull out such a scene, you need people who are at the interface between both worlds and can bridge between them.
@@MahinaKhanum I'll take your word for it.
@mahinakhanum where can I find this song I searched it everywhere on Spotify & apple music but cannot find it anywhere 🥲 I need to for my cousins wedding
Unfortunately, Netflix has no plans to release it :( We are also trying to convince them. Wishing a happy wedding to your cousins!
