Pretty much same kinda sounds but arrangement is different and I’d say rage beats are more associated with rappers while hyperpop is its own sub genre of edm. Rage def borrows from future bass/hyperpop/simple melodic synth patches usually square wave and saw wave mainly. Then big distorted clipped 808 and low cut your synths. I Miss The Rage was based off a reversed future bass synth loop off splice. So not wrong to be confused. Rage basically is super hip hop hyperpop with a punk flare

Check the little headphone icon above the keys in clip view, it should be lit up blue when u can hear the notes as u place them :)
