My experience lately with Kripp vids: Alarm rings at 6am, wake up all excited to watch Kripp vid, then go back to sleep. 2 hours later, alarm rings at 8am for school, snooze for 30 mins, arrive to class late. Kripp what have you done to me
Actually there is a combination of mage cards he loses against by giving his opponent the coin: Arcane Intellect into coin double fireball. Should be about as likely as lyra into double mindblast pain.
!Hey everybody, I was playing arena and my warlock opponent played madder bomber and the bombs slowed down when he took damage for the first 2 times then went normally. The spell stone in his hand lagged him so I played around a 7 damage spell stone and eventually he played it on one of my small minions. Just thought everyone should know about this exploit.
Kripp said that by giving the Mage a coin he could lose to "Lyra, coin, mind blast x2, holy smite" and nothing else; what he forgot is that he could also lose to: arcane intelect (draw two fireballs) + coin + fireball x2. So there were some mage spells that might kill him :) (if we're talking extreme odds)
thanks kripp my midrange pally just faced a shaman with crushing hand a bunch of volcanoes lightning storm maelstream and a warlock with every single removal you could get with warlock in his hand. Thanks.
In WILD arena, why does kripp pass up on free hero powers? What if someone has frost giant? (orwhichever the giant is that costs less per hero power this game)
at 5:00 theres a talk about portal... well i played both, at least singleplayer, and it felt to me that portal 1 had actual puzzles while in portal 2 you just search for a place to put portal on, like you look around the environment and than when you find the one place that has the capability of holding a portal, you put it there... you still have to think of how the portal will be useful, but its not that hard to find out, most of the time...
That is exactly how i got my first 12-0 last night. Paladin with extremely greedy deck. With some luck and 2 equality consecration it was maybe the easiest 12 win run i have ever got.
Not sure if joking or serious. There's a lot more to it in arena than drafting good legendaries. - Drafting a good curved deck - Picking quality cards - Being aware on where you're deck is leaning towards when picking cards - Playing those cards properly - Knowing your deck's limits and strengths etc.
I made the absolute greediest Reno Lock in wild and have been crushing the ladder with it. Also I wanted to share: I hadn't beat any of the Karazhan Heroic bosses and was bored so I was like "I'm just gonna challenge heroic Malchezar and see what his deck's like." So I chose my renolock and won the game on the first try!! I was like damn this deck is busted lmfao
Agreed on control decks dominating the Wild Arena. I don't think they're going away any time soon during the Wildfest either, judging purely by the card pool.
Portal 1 is a more focused experience. Short, slick, one highly concentrated shot of awesome. Portal 2 is much bigger and flashier, but it's all over the place, with "hey, can we make this a meme now? Guys? GUYS? WE'RE MAKING THIS A MEME, RIGHT?" sprinkled in. "Worse" or "better" aren't really applicable. With Portal 2 you get a lot more good overall, but with Portal 1 you get it a lot more intensively per hour.
Please Kripparian, i am almost always supporting your opinion especially regarding Hearthstone. But to say "I don't care about story in a game" is just wrong on so many levels. You are missing out on some of the best narrations humanity has created. Portal 2 is a masterpiece with an exceptional story.
i think u should make a video to explain what certain cards and decks are, im kinda if a beginner, ive been playing the game for a awhile but i dont know what exactly makes a control card or how to make an aggro deck, or what cards do i choose that would go good with a slow control deck
Control decks use cards that destroy the minions, the whole board, have lots of card draw and healing cards. The goal of a control deck is to kill your opponent stuffs until they lose momentum, and then you come back with your big heavy minions and spells. Aggro decks would be the complement of that. Aggro wants to get board presence as fast as possible with power 1, 2 and 3 drop minions and go face.
Why would you not play Portal 1? On your first go, it takes a few hours, which is way shorter than Portal 2. If you don't give a shit about story, which just hearing someone say that makes me sick, Portal 1 is definitely better too, since it's not all that in your face like 2 is.
Boyzby not to mention that the store of both games isn't really serious. Just skipping to portal 2 would make all of the jokes have like zero impact. He would basically be deliberately hurting his own experience of either game by doing so
The big reason why the half life 3 meme is a thing is because the story in Valve Games (half life and portal series most notably) is at such a high level that people are genuinely distraught that there is no more HL story. If you don’t play portal one then your missing out massively.
Portal 1 isn't nearly as story heavy as the second. It's also drastically shorter, and has better pacing in general. That, and it's considered a better game than the second, even when 2 had all of its hype around it.
Regarding Portal: "I don't give a shit about the story", well what if you like the story and you're missing out? If you play Portal 1 you're going to have a longer enjoyable experience then just playing portal 2, since portal 2 is basically a DLC of portal 1.
Go to Kripp's twitch page and this arena run is from the February 24th video "Arena and Portal /w Rania." The draft starts about 10 minutes into the video.
What is his average in wild arena? I see mostly 12 wins, other streemers also showing many 12 wins run, i wonder can i relax and be sure to hit top list with my 8.1 on this wildfest or try some more? On 30 runs its 100% top, but here only 10 runs count so i guess due to variance probably 8-8.5 will be minimum in top 150 na and 8.2-8.7 europe
Kripp's considering only playing Portal 2? Portal 1 is an old and therefore perfectly affordable game that can be cleared in 90-120 minutes with a simple yet very enjoyable story and intriguing gameplay, so what's the hassle?
Kripp only appreciates Blizz games portal would not cause Kripp to produce enough salt. Which would lead to the almost extinct Kripp getting eaten by its natural predators (stream snipers) since salt acts as a defense mechanism against predators leaving the sweaty snipers with a bad taste in their mouths.
For the record: Portal 1 is better, but it's also shorter, and has the benefit of a more limited scope. Portal 2 has more mechanics, some of which aren't that great, and has a more obvious plot. To put it in literary terms, Portal 2 tells, but Portal 1 shows.
"what makes HS such a great game" and in the beginning of the next video you pretty much say "when I start streaming I always hoping I'm gonna have fun and then I don't"
What he really said was “ when I start playing for the day I’m usually pretty optimistic, I just dread playing after I get unlucky for a few hours straight, which usually doesn’t happen”. So if you were going to cut that down like you did but more accurately it’d be - When I start playing hearthstone I think it’s going to be fun and sometimes, not often, but sometimes, it’s not very fun. Nice fake news bro.
So he doesn't care about story in games, uh? Well, I guess there's a lot more reason why I hate him than I thought. Now I hope there 0,00001% chance of him losing to the mages would have happened.
Priest is so fucking busted its just plain terrible what the game has turned into. Caster classes are killing arena and pretty much the game in general. The only reason Im still playing is because Ive put so much time and have such a huge collection after 4 years of playing the game but ever since MSOG the game has become the most stagnant, unbalanced, frustrating load of rubbish Ive ever seen in my 30 years of gaming. Ladder is pure garbage, arena is garbage but still the best HS experience, but just a fucking shell of the experience it used to be back in BRM/ GvG days.
Wait ... so play control, and hope to get lucky past the first few games versus heavy aggro, instead of play aggro and hope to get luck in your last few games versus control? Sounds like terrible advice. I'm not going to do 5 arena drafts with most of them losing to the first 5-7 games due to aggro. I'd rather have one draft, get 5-7 wins, and potentially lose to control later on in the arena run. Kripp, you're coming from a world where you play 2-3 arenas in a night, and would play more if it wasn't for snipers. I maybe play 5 arenas in a week, and don't care enough to to find extra time for video games. It seems like a lot of your videos, especially anything with arena-centric advise, just assumes people play arena as much, if not more than you. And yes, while I do not doubt that some people play more than you, that's probably a small percentage of you 1MM subs. Sometimes it seems that you have such a hard-on from a control-style game, it's like you're wanting to shape the meta with your videos ... but the practical reality is, that's not going to happen because of the plebs/n00bs, and others who just play the game for a small period of time. I think you need to go back to your older videos about the new-comer experience.
Blizzard won the Greed War years ago.
My experience lately with Kripp vids:
Alarm rings at 6am, wake up all excited to watch Kripp vid, then go back to sleep.
2 hours later, alarm rings at 8am for school, snooze for 30 mins, arrive to class late.
Kripp what have you done to me
You set your alarm to get up early to watch a video that will still be around when you get home?
Bruh.
T songa bruh just watch the video during breakfast
No, no i was crazy fucking unlucky this game dude
4:01 watch draft
6:39 skip draft
ive been waiting for ya m8
Damn you're fast
What happened to skip draft tho?
Skipperino Kripperino 12:14
Crazy Rampage u rite
Actually there is a combination of mage cards he loses against by giving his opponent the coin: Arcane Intellect into coin double fireball. Should be about as likely as lyra into double mindblast pain.
Ahh, but double fireball requires 2 draws, lyra bs requires one. He was out of cards in hand.
And I missed the arcane intellect ignore me.
we know he has lyra but arcane intellect 2 fireball :)
Him having AI and double fireball was even more unlikely than one might think at first glance - 2x devour mind didn't find any of these three cards.
Buttered Butter srsly?
Wow that's actually really bad. This should be fixed asap.
Thanks.
"There is no mage card that could have caused me to lose there."
Such confidence...
Arcane wisdom into coin fireball fireball would have made my day
remember when this channel wasn't about heathstone good times.
18:56 yes there is a mage card
Arcand intellect into double fireball :D
Yes
In WILD arena, why does kripp pass up on free hero powers? What if someone has frost giant? (orwhichever the giant is that costs less per hero power this game)
If Kripp likes medieval stories, he should play Witcher 3, it even has Gwent :D
if you type "hearthstone asian" in on youtube, a kripp vid is 3rd
hahahahahah
Why were u searching Hearthstone Asian
he was actually searching for "hearthstone hentai"
Epic 😂
at 5:00 theres a talk about portal... well i played both, at least singleplayer, and it felt to me that portal 1 had actual puzzles while in portal 2 you just search for a place to put portal on, like you look around the environment and than when you find the one place that has the capability of holding a portal, you put it there... you still have to think of how the portal will be useful, but its not that hard to find out, most of the time...
"When you play aggro you dont levrige your ability to play the game" This quote should be engraved on the hearthstone launcher
I love how that mage was emoting like a happy 5 year old kid in a candy store, then Kripp steals his candy...
So did he play Portal 1? I only saw him play Portal 2 with Rania.
That is exactly how i got my first 12-0 last night. Paladin with extremely greedy deck. With some luck and 2 equality consecration it was maybe the easiest 12 win run i have ever got.
Wow today was the first time i got a daily quest that had to do with dungeon run! It says defeat 5 bosses to get a pack :D
I dont know why i keep watching this, i'd quit playing hearthstone like 3 months ago. Seems like you can never really skip the kripp
I uninstalled hearthstone when I went 3-3 with a deck that had both Ragnaros and Lich king
have a nice vacantion!
if the rest of your deck was shit you should not complain
you simply can`t win with a good but very high cost legendaries without a strong early game
Not sure if joking or serious.
There's a lot more to it in arena than drafting good legendaries.
- Drafting a good curved deck
- Picking quality cards
- Being aware on where you're deck is leaning towards when picking cards
- Playing those cards properly
- Knowing your deck's limits and strengths etc.
mainly etcetera
I've lost worse with better cards. I think it was with like 5 firelands portals or smth.
6:20 wtf kripp doesnt like portal 2 story........... how is that even possible its so good
yeah He is just too emotionally attached to blizzards games
The gameplay of Portal 2 is amazing. The story is nothing special. I remember how we laughed and laughed, except i wasnt laughing.
Trolden would like Lyra + Coin into double Mind Blast
That Clip would have Never gone Offline.
coin would let him arcane intellect into fireball + fireball
I would watch the shit out of you doing a let's play of Portal 1&2. Those games are hilarious, especially in sequence.
The thumbnail for this video is my reaction to a fun card being nerfed.
Agreed on control decks dominating the Wild Arena. I don't think they're going away any time soon during the Wildfest either, judging purely by the card pool.
Portal 1&2 are both great, play them both
T H E W I L D A R E N A M A N
oh wrong channel...
Wild Constructed belongs to Dane
Portal 1 is a more focused experience. Short, slick, one highly concentrated shot of awesome. Portal 2 is much bigger and flashier, but it's all over the place, with "hey, can we make this a meme now? Guys? GUYS? WE'RE MAKING THIS A MEME, RIGHT?" sprinkled in.
"Worse" or "better" aren't really applicable. With Portal 2 you get a lot more good overall, but with Portal 1 you get it a lot more intensively per hour.
There was a series of Mage cards that killed you. Arcane Intellect, Coin, Fireball + Fireball
Criterion here
There was a mage card you could have lost to due to the coin. Arcane intellect, double fireball --> 11 mana
mage cards* you mean, the chances of having those 3 in succession normally is far less than lyra generating the cards he needs
At 10:10 you shouod have hit the gangboss. Add a 1/1 Imp to the shuffle.
Jesus , I don't think I've ever realized how much of a casual Kripp is .
It takes a millisecond to reply 'thank you', 'well played' or even just 'hello' when your opponent says it. why can't he do it?
Cool deck, entertaining run!
that last mage threw that game hard. 19 burst damage in 3 turns with 30 health...
Please Kripparian, i am almost always supporting your opinion especially regarding Hearthstone. But to say "I don't care about story in a game" is just wrong on so many levels. You are missing out on some of the best narrations humanity has created. Portal 2 is a masterpiece with an exceptional story.

Yes, they're both limited length games that are comparable in quality. You play for the puzzles, why would you halve your puzzle count?
MayMez "sorry"
MayMez sorry

On the face of the Night Elf in Excavated Evil
Begun, the Greed Wars have.
19:06 "Never say never!" Hypocrite! You just said it! TWICE!
Can someone link me to the stream where it shows the game he lost with the deck? I wanna see how the game went
At 10:06 he should have attacked the imp gang boss
Portal 1 isn't nearly as story heavy as the second. It's also drastically shorter, and has better pacing in general. That, and it's considered a better game than the second, even when 2 had all of its hype around it.
I'm curious what was the deck score?
what is the overlay that Kripp uses?
Either you hope you get lucky in the draft and get a good control deck or you hope you get lucky during the games as a aggro deck
Regarding Portal: "I don't give a shit about the story", well what if you like the story and you're missing out? If you play Portal 1 you're going to have a longer enjoyable experience then just playing portal 2, since portal 2 is basically a DLC of portal 1.
18:51 "There's no mage card that would cause me to lose."
Arcane intellect --> Coin --> Fireballx2
Very unlikely, but possible.
Firelands into LEERROYYY JENKINS would make him lose, lol
we need the sniper guild back
Portal 2 is much more refined and more fun than Portal 1 obviously.
Where can I see the whole arena run?
Go to Kripp's twitch page and this arena run is from the February 24th video "Arena and Portal /w Rania." The draft starts about 10 minutes into the video.
Michael Sodomora thanks friend
what kripp plays portal? wheres the gameplay?
Turns out greed is goooood.
What if i told you, that there is a veeeeery simple way of knowing, what the average is, even without checking statistics? (Hint, its below 3)
Birdmaster92 are you idiot? What is HIS average, kripps average in this current event.
Well, you edited your comment, so i cant even check, whether or not you said HIS before.
Deck is so good
Kripp's considering only playing Portal 2? Portal 1 is an old and therefore perfectly affordable game that can be cleared in 90-120 minutes with a simple yet very enjoyable story and intriguing gameplay, so what's the hassle?
Darius , son of Jazzlin exactly what I thought but from what he said he might only be interested in the coop mode
Pennywise - Greed
arena is only aggro BabyRage
For the record: Portal 1 is better, but it's also shorter, and has the benefit of a more limited scope. Portal 2 has more mechanics, some of which aren't that great, and has a more obvious plot. To put it in literary terms, Portal 2 tells, but Portal 1 shows.
Well Met!

Lord Canti my hero
Lord Canti I seriously read it at the same time with kripp. Wtf are you Jesus
can i get a skipperino here
There is no good reason to skip portal 1, the game only takes a couple of hours to complete at most even for a new player
Did she want to play some Portal or not?
4:00 skip kripp, 6:39 skip draft
First time I clicked 4:00 it sent me to 0:59. The heck?
Playing Portal 2 before Portal 1? What? Why would you ever do that.
Play Portal 2 co-op with Rania
averaging 10 wins with zoolock still... eu server for the win or whats up?
Trying to keep up but kripp is 3-0 and im just 1-0 kripp is a god
Where is Jewerino Kripperino ?
So he doesn't care about story in games, uh? Well, I guess there's a lot more reason why I hate him than I thought. Now I hope there 0,00001% chance of him losing to the mages would have happened.
I have a dream, that I will quit hearthstone before it ruins my life.
4:01
18:52 no Mage card ? Arcane intellect into double fireball?
ayeeee

What about arcane intellect into double fireball tho
Why does he move his head so much all the time
there is no arena meta, everyone just use draft arena, u r just talking about variance
1234(0) gold :)
not first
