Lithium has been discovered but it is in a very pre stage we don't have refineries and other metals which are mixed in it. It also need a large amount of heat water to refine approx 1 ton of lithium needs 15-20 tonnes of water ..

Lithium is a storage element and not an energy source..we need to ensure that our energy sources are in house..going nuclear is the only option of large scale non carbon based energy source..uranium and heavy water will play key role in future...otherwise even with ev we generate almost equal carbon footprint..in the end energy toh vahi thermal power plants se generate hoga..%of hydel power is also low..plus more damage will deteriorate situation rather than improving it
