Very helpful. Was at a disadvantage before your video because mine was used in bad shape and only partly together. I took completely apart, acid washed springs and sanded down. Sanded whole frame. Painted with rustproof/primer. Painted springs black and frame LSU purple. Then I found your video to reassemble. * if anyone needs to remove springs they are tough to get off. Tougher to put back on. Used ratchet straps for last 10 or so. Thanks again!
Do you recall what the nut and bolt are for? Came with a small allen wrench and small box ended wrench. It doesn't show in the video or instructions. Thanks in advance!
Awesome. Mine did not come with instructions. I folded the bottom down first and let me tell you not a mistake you want to begin with . Thank you for this
I unfolded out the big portion first. can I force the smaller portion into place with help? or is there a way to fold the larger part so i can fold the smaller part first
Just purchased one and the instructions are unbelievably ridiculous!!!!! Who wrote this nonsense? Had to bang out one of the posts so that I could fit it together, otherwise "seems" to be constructed well...won't really know until it's been used a bit. Some of the springs are not attached to the mat so if anyone has a "best practice" for attaching the springs I am listening. Thank you!!!
What is the nut and bolt for? Came with a small allen wrench and small box ended wrench. This video is very helpful. I did have to drill a hole on each side of #1503 piece so that #1505 silver button would could click in on both sides of the bar. A 3/8" drill bit is needed to fit the silver metal button on this connection. I assume this was a manufacturing error.
Watch out when you're unfolding the assembly. I unfolded the small side first and in trying to unfold the large side the small side snapped back and smashed my elbow. Next time I held it down without any issue, but I still have a huge knot on my elbow. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!
Charlotte Venturi i know this is very late but i just tried this and didn’t think it’d be that much of an issue but it snapped back and crushed my foot and then made me bang my knee against the ground
One was that the hole on the one non-bending pole was totally disfigured. Two was that the pole was nowhere near parallel to the one on top of it. The last thing is that where the angle bending part met the pole, it was all cracked.
Hey just got my ez goal lax throwback from dicks sporting goods and I did exactly what you wanted me to do in laying it out. But he problem is, when we laid the smaller section out first, it didn't go all the way back. One side of it was straight but the other wasn't going straight. My friend and I kept trying to push it all the way back but it came to the time where we just gave up. We folded it back to the original unboxed position and found 3 things.
The instruction manual is EXTREMELY POORLY written...no wonder the company felt compelled to shoot this video. But would've been very helpful to print the link on the box or similar before starting a VERY FRUSTRATING attempt to assemble.
I have to pull up this video every spring when I pull it out of the storage barn. Great job!!

Nice work guys you made my Christmas Day assembly much easier than the paper instructions

What if I unfolded the big part first what can I do?
I have the same concern could you figure it out?
Eshaan Bansal same, did u figure it out?
Same!
@@celestic250 I did push the pins in and then refold. Just finished doin it now!
Excellent death trap!! The top side snapped unexpectedly and almost killed someone who was helping assemble it. Works like a mousetrap.
Tired doing it by myself and snapped onto my foot. Read the instruction manual later on and it says to put the safety pin after snapping the piece in
No instructions.

How did you guy fold it back?
What should I do??

Agree. Funny thing is ... this wound up to be very easy to assemble. But the instructions were bad and made it even harder than it should have been.
