I grew up in Luray and worked at the caverns in high school.

The self guided tour is cool. When my oldest son was a Boy Scout we took the troop here and had a private tour where we were able to crawl through some of the tunnels in areas that you can not see on the self guided tour. It was amazing. They even turned the lights off for a minute to allow us to see what pitch black looks like. Fred nor I have been here in over ten years. Wow, better than Mammoth Cave National Park? We have not been there yet but it is on our bucket list. We really enjoyed the video. Mary 💕 Fred

Great video! The caverns are beautiful! Its been a while since I have been there. The water in there is so clear, it makes the reflection look like you are looking down into a hole! Its amazing!! There were quite a few people visiting there the day you were there. Looks like you had a nice time! Another place I want to visit again, because of your fun video! Thanks for sharing ! vicky
