- Hello, today I am sharing my latest bag make, a few of my ideas for future makes and a bit of a catchup. The book shown in the video is Basic Black a lovely little book but the sizing is smaller than usual I would say so consider this if you are thinking of buying it. Hi Dianne, I like the idea of a quilted jacket too. Yours sounds great. I keep a journal of my makes and this is the 3rd year I've done it. I like to look back on the things I've made and see how much I've worn each item too!

@@rejoicealways1233 Some more than others, they have to be edited so if it is a making something one like a sew along, there are lots of bits to edit together. Then process it, make a thumbnail, fill in the bits on youtube and upload it. So it is not a quick thing even if you are just talking. ☺
Congratulations on reaching 1,000 subscribers! It's great to see how your channel has grown. I really like the idea of the quilted jacket in denim. Your journal shows just how productive you are. I've been journaling my makes since 2017 and find it really useful to look back on my notes about a particular pattern and whether or not I wear it much. I was interested to see you wearing the McCalls 8104 as it's a pattern I've been thinking about recently. I've got a wedding to go to in May and thought that might be an option to make for it but I've rejected it for the front being too low! It looks good on you though with the long sleeved top under it. Look forward to seeing the progress of the jacket if you decide to go with it. xxx
Hi Michelle, It is a really lovely make and I wouldn't let the low front put you off as you can wear a cami under it and maybe pick out a colour from your fabric choice. You could make that as well😀maybe in a silky fabric. I often wear things under other garments as you have probably seen for modesty and it often gives an extra dimension.
