TOPICS: Jabrill Peppers (0:12), Leonard Fournette vs Christian McCaffrey (5:14), Wonderlic scores (6:50), Myles Garrett (10:22), the top QB prospects (12:11)
Colin Cowherd that's nothing like peeing at a baseball game.. Smh. In the military we drink 2 qt. canteens on a regular. Colin you're doing wayyyy too much
Colin Cowherd the man JUST TOLD YOU WHY they drink that much water and you continue to say, there is no need to drink that much water. When was the last time you worked out for a football game Colin? It is a YOU problem Colin haha
Colin I used to drink 1 liter of water every hour in the army. There were days where I drank minimum of 15 liters of water. You have no idea what you are talking about.
Wtf is wrong with Colin. 48 ounces over 4 hours is nothing. Ive drank a 48 ounce speedway slushy over 45 minutes and then played basketball. People drink a lot of water. Wtf
I agree about the water thing. I slam it all day too. But the reason Colin is suspect is because we've been burnt sooooo many times and when you see a story where it actually sounds like the argument is legitimate, Colin just isn't biting on it.
"He's not a dolphin. You can't drink that much water." I mean, I'm just starting to get into lifting (and of course nowhere near the level that Peppers lifts), and I probably refill my water bottle about every hour, maybe less often overall during school. So I just hope I don't get randomly tested for anything soon.
Dex Starr I don't even understand what that means. You deserve no points. Everyone here is now dumber for having to read your comment. May god have mercy on your soul.
Exactly. I'm a varsity high school Db and it's the offseason and I'm drinking well more than 48 oz (around 3 bottles) every hour. That is nothing, and Collin makes no sense with that whole situation
Thank you for explaining this Joel. Very good job. The reasons you gave were very valid and cleared the issue up easily. Not a big issue at all I drink a bottle of water like every two-four hours just sitting around. An athlete could drink a lot more than that easily.
Colin, I don't even play sports anymore and I drink AT LEAST 64oz of water every day. I'm a decent sized dude, 6'1 245lbs so for an athlete of Peppers' size and to be in the shape he's in, this is not weird at all, even if he wasn't sick, to get this diluted sample. At the end of the day, it's about reasonable doubt and I think there's a quite a bit of it here. Certainly enough to allow the dude another test.
Andrew Hagan diluted means it's hardly any bacteria and mainly water. which is why it's clear when you drink a bunch of water because your expunging mostly water and not 70/30 more like 85/15
Tom Brady played at Michigan and was partially overlooked because he played on a stacked team that just won a national championship. Just because you play well at an elite program doesn't mean you're a scrub
TheCephalon ummmmmmm doctors have to take the MCAT which contains a lot of concepts if physics. You still need to be well versed in physics to be a doctor. Fail analogy lol.
It’s 2022 & despite what happened to Watson he was an excellent choice in the draft because he does command a huddle. Hope he gets better in Cleveland because it’s been rough so far. Of course Trubisky didn’t work out but Patrick Mahomes became such a star that every college QB now has his draft profile pics taken while wearing a headband.
Joe klatt wouldn’t bet his house that jabrill peppers didn’t dilute his sample and the fact he compared the combine where there’s literally 30 minutes between each rep in a air conditioned dome to a hot September afternoon... is insane
Yo I drank a 16.9 fl oz bottle of water in the first 30 secs of this video, then paused and grabbed another one. I finished that bottle after the video right before I started typing this.
48 oz is 1.5 litres. I sit in an office and drink that before lunch time....I can't imagine what a kid runnning around for 7 hours straight would drink.
As a College football fan and a person who watched every single one of Fournette's games, I can tell you how fournette will get 25 touches a game. 17-20 carries 2-3 Kickoff return's 3 catches out the backfield. And he can return punts It's all in the tape , but but believe what you want
Former addict here... I take a drug test every week and I'll tell u right now I've had several tests come back diluted bcuZ of hydration. Anytime u r drinking more liquid than u normally do it can happen very easily. And let me say there is nothing worse than being accused of sabotaging a test when u know u r clean.
Everyone bashes Forunette for no reason. The man was a special teams his whole freshman year. And just because we haven't seen him run routes how do we know he can't do it's well.
Sorry im not sold on mccafferey as a nfl prospect, was a big fan of him in college but lets be real the pac 12 isn't exactly the sec in the trenches, stanford also typically has a great o line i feel mccafferey was more of a product of his environment compared to Fournette
48 ounces of water in 4-5 hours is a lot for someone sitting at a desk. If you're out doing something physical it's next to nothing. I work outside and on hot days often drink 1 gallon (128 ounces) in 8 hours. (64-78 ounces every 4-5 hours). So if he was tested shortly after a workout or workouts it's completely feasible that he drank way too much water just trying to hydrate, not trying to cover drug use.
Terry Bradshaw, Dan Marino and Donovan McNabb all scored 16 or below on the Wonderlic, Ryan Fitzpatrick scored a 48. It literally means nothing, could not be less useful as a tool to evaluate quarterbacks, let alone less mentally demanding positions like running back.
48oz of water is about 2.5 bottle of any purified water bottle (most are around 20oz), so to say that he is purposely drinking 2.5 water bottles over a 4-5 hours span to dilute his test is totally absurd. That is not very much by any means, let alone for a draft prospect that is performing for 2 separate positions.
Colin is absolutely correct. 48+ ounces is a tremendous amount to drink in any 6 hours period...let alone in the 6 hours immediately prior to a drug test. It is FAR more likely that Peppers was drinking such an absurd amount to purposely alter his sample.
Joel Klatt is the man, ever since he slammed the NCAA back in 2005 for their exploatation of college players, I knew this guy had both the balls and brains. Hope he somewhere down the line gets a permanent show after his color commentator job, he knows what he is talking about. Plus he is handsome and has a good voice.
When I ran track in high school I use to drink about two bottles of water every 90 minuets in school the day before and day of a track meet. Colin as usual wants to sound smart but has no idea what he's talking about
TOPICS: Jabrill Peppers (0:12), Leonard Fournette vs Christian McCaffrey (5:14), Wonderlic scores (6:50), Myles Garrett (10:22), the top QB prospects (12:11)
Colin Cowherd that's nothing like peeing at a baseball game.. Smh. In the military we drink 2 qt. canteens on a regular. Colin you're doing wayyyy too much
listen to the expert.
Colin Cowherd the man JUST TOLD YOU WHY they drink that much water and you continue to say, there is no need to drink that much water. When was the last time you worked out for a football game Colin? It is a YOU problem Colin haha
stop commenting on sports when you never even played. Every athlete walks around with a full gallon of water, acting like a diluted sample is so bad
Wtf
He has some good takes., but He's sanctimonious. Always has been. Very much a corporate shill. He sided with the airline when the man got dragged out.
I'm not a professional athlete and drink like a bottle of water an hour, Colin just wants to roast Jabrill Peppers.
I agree about the water thing. I slam it all day too. But the reason Colin is suspect is because we've been burnt sooooo many times and when you see a story where it actually sounds like the argument is legitimate, Colin just isn't biting on it.
Quincy Wright he does. He wants to point the finger like a lot of these self righteous fans
I do cycling as a hobby and i drink water a bottle of water every one hour, sports drink too to replenish the electrolytes.
you might have diabetes
He should bring Joel on the show more, I love listening to guys that are this knowledgeable of college football especially this close to the draft.
In high school I used to drink a bottle water every period... Not that crazy
Christopher Babyak It really isnt.
Christopher Babyak Right, I wrestled in high school and I would drown in water every day.
Yea, Just at work I easily drink more than 48 oz in 4 hours
"He's not a dolphin. You can't drink that much water." I mean, I'm just starting to get into lifting (and of course nowhere near the level that Peppers lifts), and I probably refill my water bottle about every hour, maybe less often overall during school. Colin is reaching... Has he been known to not be a Peppers fan? Possibly reasoning for why he feels that way. I drink 32oz per hour class period...
Idk who this guy is but I love listening to him destroy all of Colin's idiotic talking points. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
WindyCityFlyer Joel Klatt is one of my favorite on tv personalities. Backs up his opinions with facts and never afraid to admit when he's wrong
He's totally wrong about the test though
WindyCityFlyer he's too smart to be in the same room as colin😂
WindyCityFlyer your just bitching because he's not an SJW
Dex Starr I don't even understand what that means.
You deserve no points. Everyone here is now dumber for having to read your comment. May god have mercy on your soul.
Joel is the most intelligible guest Colin brings on
Yes, and Lee Jenkins and Broussard as well
Ben & Cris Carter
The guy literally just said 48 oz. Even high school athletes drink that much per hour, imagine a player thats about to go pro... Colin cmon
Exactly. I'm a varsity high school Db and it's the offseason and I'm drinking well more than 48 oz (around 3 bottles) every hour. That is nothing, and Collin makes no sense with that whole situation
Colin Joe just told you and gave you the scientific facts but YOU chose to ignore it about the Peppers situation.
sounds like a trump voter
Teddy Fresh just how right wingers act. Lol
Diluted is a non issue... Colin just caught the L scientifically lol
The scientific L is the worst kind.
i drink 6 bottles of water a day, atleast 4 within 4 hours
Thank you for explaining this Joel. Very good job. The reasons you gave were very valid and cleared the issue up easily. Not a big issue at all I drink a bottle of water like every two-four hours just sitting around. An athlete could drink a lot more than that easily.

Peppers stock should not fall because of this
Zach Stolpa hope it does and he falls to 20
boy i tell ya Might not even have gone that early regardless
Zach Stolpa most people have him not even in the first round in their mock drafts. this won't hurt him at all.
Zachary Archambault If its a best player available scenario and Broncos can pick him they should. Dline was suspect last year
Andrew Hagan diluted means it's hardly any bacteria and mainly water. which is why it's clear when you drink a bunch of water because your expunging mostly water and not 70/30 more like 85/15
Did someone say Joy😎😎
Time to pull out the tissues. Except I never pull out of Joy.
How To Make Anything Sound Stupid this comment really fits your username
Yes they could’ve retested a few hours later to get a good sample.
I hope Peppers has a great NFL career. Everyone is doubting him right now.
-Michigan Fan
A clean test is a clean test.
Joe Klatt makes so much sense! great blend of simplicity, logical and knowledge of sports. His rebuttles are priceless!
"I just gave you SCIENTIFIC evidence, you just want to make him a deadbeat"
School him Klatt
I drink a gallon of water at a 3 hour football practice because I get cramps easily
bro coaches in football will tell u drink a gallon of water the night before a game
Colin, you and Joel need to do a show together.... incredible video! You guys going back and forth is way better than any of the debate shows.
Colin is your typical anti player pro business type of old man.
AidenHighlights and it's getting really annoying
AidenHighlights facts
hes actually pro player, but okay
Juan Fulgencio Colin never played pro sports buddy
getyoasshome hes saying he's on the side of players, not that he is a player.
D onta Foreman thats all i got to say. Can pass block run hard is fast has size. Best running back in the draft.
Oh give me a break Colin😂 Thank God Joel Klatt has common sense sometimes
Tom Brady played at Michigan and was partially overlooked because he played on a stacked team that just won a national championship. Just because you play well at an elite program doesn't mean you're a scrub
"He's not a dolphin" classic Cowherd argument
joel always come with facts.
Klatt & Broussard are the best guests that Colin brings on
The wonderlink test is like giving a doctor physics problems to test their medical knowledge. What a waste of time.
TheCephalon ummmmmmm doctors have to take the MCAT which contains a lot of concepts if physics. You still need to be well versed in physics to be a doctor. Fail analogy lol.
Ryan Fitzpatrick, the Harvard student, got an amazing Wonderlic test score. And, uh, some career he's had...
Im not a big Joel Klat fan, but damn he was on fire.
It’s 2022 & despite what happened to Watson he was an excellent choice in the draft because he does command a huddle. Hope he gets better in Cleveland because it’s been rough so far. McCaffrey is going to play like Freeman for Atlanta if he goes to right place
Joe klatt wouldn’t bet his house that jabrill peppers didn’t dilute his sample and the fact he compared the combine where there’s literally 30 minutes between each rep in a air conditioned dome to a hot September afternoon... is insane
Poppy Seed Muffin Guy.....LMAO Colin!!!!!
He was dead on with mccaffrey vs fournette
When I was in the army we were required to drink that much or more as routine when we were in the desert.
Yo I drank a 16.9 fl oz bottle of water in the first 30 secs of this video, then paused and grabbed another one. I finished that bottle after the video right before I started typing this.
hey man, dolphins don't drink water.
Colin, this guy got you on this one, you're out matched
48 oz is 1.5 litres. I sit in an office and drink that before lunch time....I can't imagine what a kid runnning around for 7 hours straight would drink.
5:47😂😂💀💀💀💀
Klatt's 100% right
Lol, I remember breaking out crying to a song because I was delusional about my former chatting friends actually wanting to be friends with me again.
48 oz is not a lot especially if you're trying to prevent cramps!
when I played football, I drank bottles upon bottles of water.
Usually drink 1 liter of water or more just lifting weights. I could easily surpass that when running around several hours a day.
ESPN published it's more like 8-10 ounces... if it was just 48 ounces, fine but 8-10 bottles (135 oz at a minimum)? Not buying it.
As a College football fan and a person who watched every single one of Fournette's games, I can tell you how fournette will get 25 touches a game.
17-20 carries
2-3 Kickoff return's
3 catches out the backfield.

Maybe bc I'm a North jersey guy but Colin is gonna make my head explode with his "old white guy attitude".
Preach
As a guy who's played football, I can confirm I've 48Oz on that time period isn't even that much
At high school level
I love McCaffrey but he's a small RB & he's gonna get lit up.
lol i had like 50 oz of water in 90 minutes.. 20 when i woke up 36 in an hour at the gym
Lol dude was blazing it down. But glad Klatt clarified for people that don't know.
"it's not just you drank a lotta water"
*10 seconds later*
"your creatinine levels are very low. You drank a lotta water"
So he got in trouble for taking in too much water? Tf wrong with the NFL 😂😂
He should of just beat his girlfriend and he wouldn't of been in trouble at all.
Everyone bashes Forunette for no reason. The man was a special teams his whole freshman year. And just because we haven't seen him run routes how do we know he can't do it's well.
Drinking a water bottle every hour isnt that crazy Colin really making Peppers out to be worse than it is
Funny watching this now because Fournatte was given at least 26 a game just running
PSQL49 right, they were taking the ball is out of Bortles hands
5:55 lmao
Sorry im not sold on mccafferey as a nfl prospect, was a big fan of him in college but lets be real the pac 12 isn't exactly the sec in the trenches, stanford also typically has a great o line i feel mccafferey was more of a product of his environment compared to Fournette

Carson Palmer starts and he is a usc qb
Florida don't have a starting quarterback? Really? Who's starting at Tampa?
Terry Bradshaw, Dan Marino and Donovan McNabb all scored 16 or below on the Wonderlic, Ryan Fitzpatrick scored a 48. It literally means nothing, could not be less useful as a tool to evaluate quarterbacks, let alone less mentally demanding positions like running back.

Colin, I ran cross country all through high school. I drank a Gallon of water a day. It really isn't out of the question for an athlete at that level
Greg Robinson ??? or Williams
I drink 4 16 oz water bottles within 1 hour. C'mon now.
I drink 32-48 ounces a hour. I average about 8 to 12 litres a day so it's not unreasonable Colin
if you played college ball you know the anxiety a drug test brings. Start drinking all the water you can
Joel Klatt wouldn't say the same thing about Ruben Foster and his diluted tests,
Joel Klatt is the man, ever since he slammed the NCAA back in 2005 for their exploatation of college players, I knew this guy had both the balls and brains. Hope he somewhere down the line gets a permanent show after his color commentator job, he knows what he is talking about. Plus he is handsome and has a good voice.

Is Jeff George his only example???
Greatest Colin Cowherd show ever would be Westbrook as guest
If he didn't feel well or thought this would be an issue, why didn't his agent let the NFL know this might happen in advance?
Collin cowherd is so against Michigan players
I drink 48 oz of water within 2 hours sometimes
How do these guys get these jobs
Jonathan Douglas they're smart. Wbu? What's your high paying job?
I usually agree with Colin but Joel was spot on. I swear half the people on the internet think diluted means he took steroids or something
If you walk into any gym in America almost everyone in there drinks a bottle of water almost every hour.
I just pause at 2:03 and Peppers should NOT be suspended !
I swim and at meets I do like 2 bottles every hour and a half
Ben rothlisberger did the same thing in college
a bottle of smart water is 36 ounces. I can drink it under a hour without trying and sports has nothing to do with it.
I don't know who Colin knows, but I'm not a collegiate athlete, however, I drink that much water multiple times a day.
Colin, it the player in question was Mitch Trubisky, Christian McCaffrey, or T.J. Watt, then maybe you'd believe the science?
When I am sick and want to go out that night I take 2 showers and drink a gatorade or a water every hours or 2
If Colin is talking about taking mediocre power five teams with qb it should be mahomes
48 ounces is around 1/3 gallon of water that seems very reasonable for an athlete
I failed a drug test because of a poppy seed bagel once.
Xavier Hernandez broooooo swear ? That's probably why I failed mine
This guy bodied Colin. Give him a show.
i drink a bottle of water every 1 - 1 1/2h on work.. just because its free
What is creatnin? You mean creatine?
