Grow Vegetables in the Fish Pond

The Secret to grow vegetables in a fish pond lies in the quality of the water, movement, presence of fish and substrate used to hold the plants. In today's video I will share my own DIY project on how to make a fish pond combined with growing clean vegetables without any worry.
My backyard mini fish pond has a capacity of 120 liters. This mini pond is home to few Australian rainbowfish which are cold and heat tolerant. They have been in the pond for over a year and displays vibrant colors. I have built a small pond filter with beautiful cascading buckets water feature with evergreen perennials . I have been growing clean vegetables and herbs in the pond since it started. Water feature creates a lot of movement in the water to oxygenate the fish pond and keeps both aquaponic plants and submersible plants healthy.
Plants:
1. Mint
2. Sage
3. Chives
4. Oregano
5. Basil
6. Italian Parsley
7. Strawberry
8. Ovacado
9. Watercress
10. Thin Val

It's a lot of fun watching them grow. This is the only small pond I have got so unfortunately couldn't do more. Hopefully in future could grow herbs on a bigger scale in a pond.

@@Fishaholic Oh yeah for sure and the fish just helped her plants grow so much in the plants keep the water more clean for the fish it’s an awesome relationship we’re gonna start growing a lot more plants out of our aquariums and Pines we’ve got a lots of things planned just had to kind of get over the busyness of this virus when you work in the medical field it’s really nuts but it’s finally starting to subside a little bit so we can get to work on more projects around here
