- so we've seen the evolution of nemesis throughout the years, it was great to see this new iteration of our beloved tyrant shown off in resident evil 3 remake.
with all his new changes to lore and prowess, to his new abilities and transformation, it was great to see what a modern take of nemesis would be like in re3 remake.
but all this was after all the previous versions we've seen him go through in so many years. starting from his debut in the classic resident evil 3 and to his next version in resident evil darkside chronicles, and to all the way to resident evil operation raccoon ciaccty.
it was great to see this tyrant be that constant fear factor that we had to go through while playing as jill valentine in the middle of the raccoon city outbreak.

HeY DeVuH Honestly I have many favorite versions from the different games, my favorite 1st form is the original Nemesis, 2nd form RE3 remake, 3rd form RE3 remake
I love the remake Nemesis because of all of the awesome mutations he has. Though seeing him as the OG 2nd form would've been cool before the canine like one.

I love the original Nemesis - due to nostalgia. But I can say that the remake showed just how far Umbrella's experiments will go. Seeing him when you first meet him in the biohazard suit or something, you know he's a biological weapon just unleashed. Masked or no mask, it's a tyrant like no other.
Sadly, his blob form in the end was too much like Birkin's final form. I guess because of the way the virus spreaded and evolved? Either way, it was literally a huge mess, haha.

I think that he looks like what an unethical Corporation would create if they were trying to make the ultimate Tyrant. What would you focus on in this situation as a company that cares little for ethics and more about results? You would cut time and effort spent on dressing up your experiment, and instead invest mostly in power and intelligence. This was the reason for using the parasite in the first place. What we see in the final product is fitting. Something that loosely resembles a Tyrant and looks as if it had been cut open many times and then put back together.
This Nemesis is the unethical standards of Umbrella personified. They don't care if their creation is in constant agonizing pain. They don't care if its skin is stretched out or exposed or what have you. They care about results.
I love the new look of Nemesis, you can see he's a man who has been heavily experimented on by Umbrella and he becomes less human (and intelligent) with every mutation. But I like the way he was used in the old version (The original RE3)
RemU - Actually! In the game it is said how he was one of many tyrant models that was experimented on with the alpha parasite. He was like a prototype🤷♂️, so they sent him to takeout stars, while Nikolai recorded nemesis for combat data so umbrella knew what to improve.
Actually, Nemesis is more intelligent than the standard Tyrant or Human. That is thanks to the parasite inside of him. He also has a very sadistic personality, and enjoys toying with his prey more than killing. This is why Jill is able to escape so easily, while other S.T.A.R.S. members are killed on sight. Something about her made him want to keep the chase going.
Juice - ugh yes, he was good. Even in his dog form he would mess with Jil. New nemesis is amazing, I just wish he had another form. Like a mix between shirtless/dog.

Juice -I think that would’ve made it better. This new nemesis felt a little scripted compared to Mrx from re2.
I prefer the classic Nemesis where in 2nd form he still retains his humanoid form and 3rd form an unplanned mutation where his parasite is trying to stay alive by finding a new body by consuming a dead tyrant while Nemesis' body is completely destroyed by the acid. The remake 2nd and 3rd form mutations is too similar to William's classic g4 and g5 and really took out the intelligent hulking humanoid stalker thrill from the classic. It seems like the 2nd form is the result of the limiter coat destroyed similar to Mr X's final fight with Leon but all the previous Tyrants without the limiter is still humanoid in nature. Implanting the NeA parasite into a tyrant and completely mutate it to a quadrupedal beast is something I don't buy and fake.

Nemesis RE3 remake went great also i recognize the weapon of the Railgun that was prototype navy ship turrets with that size plus with 16 nuclear power cell nemesis ultimate form made armor he survived that first shot with super high velocity heat closer 4,000 heat sun and penetrated underground metal armor to support with combined metal titanium steel and iron like the small railgun did to 3 or 4 building
I reckon mr x was more challenging than nemesis for remakes and that’s funny if you consider their roles in the original
This new remake missed out on a lot and could've really given us more fear and stress while being in the rpd as the original at least after carlos was there we could've gone and explore another side of it but the developers let me down, I wanted to hear Jill say her stars line at the end and not so early in the game when she shoots him w that rail gun, I wanted more of Nemesis breaking through walls randomly would have been awesome.
God RE3 remake was way to short, it should have one more open area at least where he is hunting you like in the first area.

Eh. I would say moreso linear than short. They had enough areas to work with to at least utilize exploration, ala RE2 remake. Even RE3 99 did a better job with exploration compared to this variation, but somehow, the story makes up for it and it was still a great game to play. Is it RE2make, hell no, but it was a real fun experience to play.
It wasn't done by the same development team behind RE2R, this was not Dev 1 and it really shows. The game cut so much and it made really bizarre choices too, like not having Jill go to the RPD at all is a huge missed opportunity. To have her be the one to put down Brad and see Marvin get bit, especially after Brad saved her would have been far more emotional and impactful than it was with Carlos, who didn't have any connection to them. Imagine Jill seeing that, having to see what the RPD has become in it's fall, to go through the STARS office with her, see her reactions to not being able to stop this. Or have options to save survivors in the city, bring them back to the train and talk with them, so that when Nemesis attacks the train you have attachment to those NPC characters he just killed.
Or having Nicholai kill Tyrell too after Jill tells Carlos that Nicholai killed Murphy, this making it extremely personal between Carlos and Nicholai.
@Monkey Bananas considering the FFVII Remake and RE2R...no, I don't think our expectations were too high, we'd been shown what a remake COULD be...and they simply didn't deliver. Mods will perfect it and finish what Capcom chose not to.

To be honest, I don't know if I cared for the new forms what I truly loved about Resident Evil 2 is that they stuck to theand withdrew elements from the original let's take William Birkins forms for instance. Each and every form of G lived up to the originalunderstandable that the developers wanted to go for something differentbut I don't think they were successful with Nemesis forms second form or final form sure it was scary it was awesome kind of saying Nemesis go from a humanoid type stalker to a feral beast........but nah I like tentacle Nemesis better he seemed much more powerful and much more unrelenting than the new guy
I was also not a fan of the new mutations-they were too predictable from a gameplay perspective(he gets really stupid) and he could no longer chase you through the environment save in cutscenes. The fight at the Waste disposal pit was such a sad copy of the fight at the courtyard(itself poorly done) that it was just tedious and annoying

I think they should've made him have extra tentacles and increase a tremendous amount in muscles mass like in the original.

One thing I’m sad about the nemesis in this one the remake one it didn’t have the original from the PlayStation one’s A.I.’s intelligence because if you look at the mixed reviews which despite I haven’t seen them I could easily tell Howard went mixed reviews three things that made it go wrong but not terribly wrong one Time restrictions rushed out the whole work rushed out the entire work process and on top of that if you slow down those scenes and if you play the multiple times you realize this version of nemesis is not all that scary but I’m getting out of myself so onward to the second part which is the world of the game it wasn’t as opened the third which I should’ve addressed and I am sorry I got out of order but that’s the third problem the nemesis despite its mutated forms if you’re into monster art Bloodgore violence or horror or any mixture combinations of the sources then nemesis this new one his design outlooks and move sets are just a odd horror type of sweet cinnamon to the eyes it is to me and that’s why RE3remake is not RE3N remake a.k.a. resident evil three nemesis remake kind of a waste of potential in the original he never stopped tracking you down he didn’t bring much whore impact of the original much is to my disliking to make it more horrific monster burnt he got a great A.I.B. To be honest i think that final form of Nemesis from original RE 3 Nemesis was in a way fitting for it , it's body was crippled and disfigured by the demage it received from being dumped into a pool of chemicals made to get rid of B.O.W's for good , it survived but suffered demage that it could not properly heal from yet it's body did it's best , and final form being the result , B.O.W with ruined body that tries to regain it's past abilities by mutating into new horrifying form , after seeing so much effort to kill a creature fail one would feel as if they might just give up due to it not working and creature being still alive .

His 4 legged 2nd form in the remake looks like Nemesis LAST form in the original. It was a cool form but I wish they would of saved it for the disposal fight. Just so we can have tentacle nemmy stalking us in the hospital when we play as jill and have him follow us to the lab.

I think the new second form could be better if nemesis had tentacles coming out of his back to attack you during the fight.

1. Who was the last one to leave racoon city alive hunk in the 4th survivor or jill and carlos

REmake3 is fun but short. I'm still salty that Jill doesn't go to the RPD...
She could have entered from the parking lot, get some items or do something and then get out and maybe have the zombie dogs chase her and that's why she closes the entrance of the parking lot, just to have some connection with RE2 when Leon finds it closed.
Also, feral Nemesis is awesome.
I have yet to play the re3 remake i only played a little bit of the original, but i know i will love the remake

While I think this new second form is really good, I really wanted to see the humanoid second form remastered.

I loved the first form of the Nemesis in the Remake. I liked the new look over his OG look. And he is much more of a pain in the ass in the Remake. that being said ...i was kinda underwhelmed with his 2nd form which made him more beastial and animal like. He was far more intimdating and terrifying in his first form. I liked his 2nd form in the OG with his tentacles...yet maintaining a human aspect still chasing you around.
The final form in Remake was good...and a nice new touch giving him an eldritch abomination look.
All in all it wouldve been awesome ...if we had his first form around a bit longer. Overall the game is awesome. Still my favorite is RE2

Railgun in remake is too advance at that period of year, so it wise to be the old mount big ugly railgun more suit that year to end nemesis, after all it now stick at the wall like the good old flower. so the old fashion railgun with slow mobility turret should do the final punch to end the nemesis remake franchise.

REmake Mr x is more faithful to original RE3 Nemesis then remake Nemesis who was Orginal RE2 Mr x 2.0 .
Nemesis in terms of his burst speed and tentacles which he can gain to you in mere seconds. Mr X in terms of persistent, hell he chase and stalks you from the rpd til the escape from Nest lab and randomly appear in the place you least expected him to be except certain rooms.
Looks wise its the remake hands down but his AI sucks hard like why is the freaking Nemesis hiding from us a puny human? Im talking about the bit where he runs in circles around the outside of the Arena hiding behind what i can only guess are generators?

The RE3 Remake was just rumors and CapCom actually listened and made it.
Nope, they developed the game alongside RE2, of course CAPCOM didn't tell us this until after its reveal. CAPCOM is not the type to be honest. I predict that in time they will state the reason they developed RE3 remake the way it is, is to complement RE2 better and expand the narration and add more flavor to its story regarding the vaccine sub plot. RE3 was a great game which lacked content, will DLC do it justice, remains to be seen.

The classic was better, he was better implemented with the "random encounter" while you are exploring through the city. His 2nd form in the R3make looks like boss creature you see in Darksouls or Blood Borne unfortunately his gameplay style was horrible being reduce to a massive bullet sponge that simply charges right into your face all the time
Nemesis was in Marvel Vs Capcom 3 Ultimate before they put him into Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite. Just saying.

Well, I listened to RE3 Remake defenders and played through RE3 1999 this past week. I thoroughly enjoyed it. RE3 1999 might now be my favorite of the classic RE PS1 trilogy.
Man, Capcom really gutted a lot of content and replay value in the recent remake.
I don't hate the remake, but disappointing and over priced is what I'd use to describe it.

I personally liked his RE3 remake transformations, some say he was under utilized but considering he was the main antagonist, it would only make sense to limit his appearance to up his value as the lone boss in the game. He looked far more formidable in the remake compared to his other iterations. Lore wise, he is still a Prototype, but has awesome combat skills and is the definition of the evolution of a Tyrant.

I think the remake for RE3 Remake was very rushed in every way. They wanted to take advantage of how big RE2 Remake was. And ended up releasing the RE3 Remake which falls short to the story of the original.
Don't agree with you but that's fine, to each's own. RE3 remake is to dissimilar to its original counterpart to be a rushed product. RE3 in every way, shape and form revolved around escaping the city setting and Nemesis chasing you. That's why it progressed linearly and backtracking was not involved or at least was extremely limited. Please notice which parts of the game had some backtracking and which didn't. Once you got to the hospital, more backtracking was involved as well as the lab. Confined and closed spaces require it whereas as the city setting didn't and hence, it progressed in linear fashion. RE3 remake was a great game.
The original will always be far better then the remake
To be honest I don't like Nemesis,s four legged form in the remake. I prefer the arm tentacle instead from the original.

(Unpopular opinion) Original Nemesis was still better. I personally think this Nemesis should've went humanoid ,humanoid tentacles arms , beast Nemesis,beast with tentacles then final form/queen xeno thing. I think half the game should've had humanoid Nemesis because beast form only encountered in cutscenes and boss battles.
Still enjoyed the game but original game is still better.
Resident evil was always a action shooter from day one. You start with nothing but by the end have enough weapons for a small army.

At least for me, nemesis was good in the classic re 3, now is so dumb, is just other mr x but with a deformed face. There's not any "nemesis", y a mr x custome. 🤷🏻♂️
