The Audition by Seoul Metropolitan Ballet

In January, as life beneath the earth prepared to take a leap forward, the Seoul Metropolitan Ballet held its first auditions for dancers. With 129 participants, we went through four stages to select five dancers for the 2024 season and 17 project dancers.
The passionate pursuit of a dream, the heat of fierce competition, and the breathless tension. The beginning of the journey to become the Korean ballet of the future, here are the scenes from the Seoul Metropolitan Ballet’s first audition.
