I still think items in the shop should be a bit cheaper
Game creators are greedy in my opinion
I haven’t bought everything in the shop yet, but haven’t spent money on moonstones. I just grab what I want the most and save for Star Paths. Dreamsnaps definitely helped the F2P players like myself who don’t want to spend the money. But everything is definitely obtainable, minus star path items.
That is a lot of money but we get a lot of moonstones now with dreamsnaps so i think that its less costly overall! Really informative video!

I have been playing this game since day one. I buy everything however I also get as many moonstones as possible to buy everything. I don’t whine. I play. I have over 750 hours in this game. Definitely worth it.
Agreed the game is very worth it and gives a couple options to earn moonstones which is amazing🙌
The Royal deco living room set is already including the Divider Shelf, so if you bought the set when it came out, you can go down 1,200 moonstones. That being said, the 2 Royal furniture sets (living room and bedroom) were only sold once in the premium shop, probably because of how expensive they were and the backlash Gameloft received. I hope those items will come back in a full bundle at a reasonable price. For now, I'm holding off buying the divider shelf on its own as I find 1,200 to be too expensive for a single item, even though I really want it.
Thanks for the video Seroh! It’s good to know how much money I would have spend!! To be honest I only brought the ultimate edittion and spend my moonstones only when I find things that I really need, so the dream snaps was such a breath of relief for my moonstone wallet. Ps:it’s really good to check for codes every change of starpath or holiday, sometimes you will have a surprise.😊

Im just nervous for when this game goes free to play later this year and then that point on, theyll be making characters locked behind a paywall. So ive been saving my moonstones for when that happens instead of spending it on the premium shop 😭

Februarys update was when they started the premium shop. so not been a year as it was mid feb when the shop was added

the premium shop hasnt been around for a full year yet. i started playing the game when they first started to celebrate the 100 years stuff (aka the starpath you get minnies/mickeys clothes with in the background) and i managed to catch up and everything before the shop popped up. so it was more likely around march-ish? and the year isnt even over yet so oooof. im glad im picky with what i spend my moonstones on.
They REALLY need to adjust the prices in the shop items cause paying a couple thousand moonstones for like 3 pieces of furniture is just crazy

Buying the Ultimate Edition got me everything in the standard & deluxe pack except the moonstone so I have all the digital items from the founders packs. My daughter made an account and it had another 8k moonstone & she has the standard items, I made a second account, it came with $8k moonstone and all the standard items. So buying Ultimate on sale in June, got my switch accounts a total of 36,000 moonstone. 😅
That’s why I love that there is dreamsnaps. I haven’t spent any money on moonstones and just use them for what I really want.
as some one who has easily spent well over 900 dollars for sims4 packs.. i can totally believe all the items so far in game would equal out to 400+ dollars.
If you win 4k from dreamsnaps 32 times you can buy everything 😅

@Serroh yeah if you guy the ulimate bundle you get all the items you'd get in deluxe or standard ,so all you need to buy is the ulimate,so that another chunk off the money spending xD
I bought the other editions when they went on sale just for the extra cheaper moonstones
When I started this game in late spring I didn’t have enough Scrooge coins to purchase much from his store. I’m guessing that may be why I won’t get those earlier items? I really like playing this game even though I can’t some of the hot items at all! 😊
😅 this just solidifies -do your dreamsnaps people! 😅😅😅 I bought the base founders pack, and as of yet have not purchased anything else with real money. I hope they continue to offer ways to get premium currency in game without flat out buying it ❤
I am curious to see how much the future DLCs are going to be, especially if they're going to include exclusive characters this way, not just additional quests/storyline for existing characters 🤔

I got the standard edition free with Game Pass and then the Ultimate Edition on sale on Xbox for $35 dollars then recently I purchased the Cozy Edition, but I’ve never bought moonstones in the game so technically it only cost me the price of buying one video game. To me that’s definitely worth it because DDV has so much content and will last be way longer if it goes on for a long time. I’d happily pay $70-$80 a year to keep playing DDV
I think with the dreamsnaps it’s fair. Just save up your moonstones. I haven’t had to buy any extra moonstones.

Personally I bought the (Ultimate) on Steam (sale) and didn't start the game until right after Christmas time. I was given a $100 gift card to buy the game as a gift. Bought and the biggest moonstone bundle. So technically out of my own pocket I spent nothing. (Thinking about it I MAY have bought a smaller pack on sale on Steam somewhere in there also out of my own pocket?) If you look at it as actual money spent it was $100. (Maybe?) As of right now I'm sitting on a nice chunk of moonstones but we'll see how long that lasts through the holidays! Although if most are repeats from last year, I was able to do last years Holiday starpath and purchase some items from the shop that interested me. Might be an expensive season....might not?
If I think about how much money I've stuck into Sim's games or Pokemon (including GO).....this game has been cheap! So far......
I got the game free of charge a week or two before it was actually available, so it cost me nothing.

😳 is it worth it imo although fun that's a whole lotta money. Just think you could buy 6+ games for that. To each their own though.
