It's a beautiful deck! And I love that the LWB gives at least a hint about the legend or character so we can look up more (but like you said, it would be lovely to have a premium, much larger version). I love my Wild Wood Tarot and Druidcraft Tarot, their guidebooks are phenomenal. Had to give up on the Universal Celtic Tarot, the LWB doesn't give the meanings. For example, on the 7 of Pents, all it says in the LWB is "The innocence of a child makes the magic of goblins something natural". I appreciated your sharing how you would interpret readings differently for a trad RWS and this deck.
Thank you for your thoughtful comment and for suggesting the idea of comparing the decks with Rider-Waite-it really was a great suggestion and has helped shape how I approach my reviews ☺️ I agree, it’s a pity the LWB doesn’t provide more depth. Something like ‘the innocence of a child makes the magic of goblins something natural’ definitely doesn’t say much and leaves a lot open to interpretation. I’m glad you enjoyed the video, and yes, RWS really does stand the test of time-it’s still my go-to deck for any occasion.
Thanks for connecting and letting me know! I’m really glad the video helped you make the right decision. By the way, I checked out your UA-cam channel, and you’ve got some really interesting cards there. Great work! ☺
