My two favorite decks that I am working with right now for winter are the circle of doors tarot and the lost tarot. Two of my absolute favorites anytime of the year actually. I love listening to you talk about your decks. You have such a wonderful way of describing them and capturing the energy and emotion of the decks. So glad I found your channel!

I love the anima mundi and for me it is a perfect late fall and beginning of winter deck. I don't think I will say that winter is my favorite season but I love a lot of things that comes with it. I am also a silver girl. Thanks for sharing :)

I felt inspired to look through my ~30 (?) decks. And guess what - though I do not usually choose my decks along the lines of season, I found a deck I tend to use unintentionally mostly from November to end of February or beginning of March: The Mythologia Fennica (indie version). And well... it makes sense: It is a finnish deck, people in there are mainly wearing warm clothes. The guidebook (which was sold seperately), contains stories from finnish folklore, which take place in the harsh northern climate, and landscape. There is even a Sauna card! And when I crocheted a bag for it, the only thread I had in a colour that matched the deck well enough, was a thick woolen thread, so the bag reminds me of " thick warm sweater for dark, cold days" .
Oof these are great winter choices and now I think I need Black Lily! This is the second video this morning I've seen that's making me want to buy a deck 😅 I'm ok with that! Thanks for sharing 🩷
Lovely decks I had never seen the Fantasy Garden so thank you for sharing! I have a few decks that are more of a winter vibe-the Tarot of the Abyss, Anima Mundi for sure, Circle of doors, Spacious, Children of Litha & Wild Unknown are just a few!
I do have a few decks. Just did my deck rotation. I am drawn to warm tones in decks such as Cirro Marchetti. However this year I’m working with a new deck The Unfolding Tarot & an oracle deck. It’s mostly normal themed decks as it’s the in between autumn and spring chill phase. ❤
I was really struck by your comments about the Black Lily tarot. It's a deck that has always attracted me and disturbed me at the same time, and I need to think through that more... And I've never heard of the Vetti tarot -- I have to go look it up!
I can definitely understand why the Black Lilly can come off as disturbing in a way, because the facial expressions and the way their bodies are held sometimes can come off a little creepy. But as I've worked with the deck it has really humbled me and shown me all the different ways beauty is held and I treasure that lesson so much. I appreciate you watching and leaving a comment!! 😊
