And THEN, you wait till after the earnings call and see if the price increases or decreases, and get rid of the option/future depending on if it went down or up…. Seems fool proof! Or is that just the same as *not* buying a stock before the report and then buying or shorting depending on what happens after the call..? I think I just thought of something that felt genius but was truly just stupid
