the lens is usually spherical and modeling is much more complicated. missing the hinges and nose pad ... I put a like for the effort. Have a nice day Andrea from Italy
Great tutorial! Thx When you mirror the left half to the right Some conjunction is not defined, I tried to define tangent then mirroring it so that there is no error
The only reason surfacing was chosen here is because of the arc profile that the glasses follow as viewed from the top. Otherwise you would sketch the 2-d profile, and extrude it which would have no curved profile. Plus there is an angle as viewed from the right of the frame. Offsetting two surfaces preserves orthagonal locality which is a sort of "average" extrude from a non-planar surface... if that makes sense.
I have a question, is the radius for the frame in 3:42 a standard 500 mm radius in the industry? or did you just take it into your own consideration? thanks!
I have a problem with the function you do at 4m10. I have the following error message: The highlighted entity contains points that are coincident but not merged. I hope someone has an answer to my problem thank you in advance
Hola, he visto otra forma de hacer gafas, y las ahcen con madera doblada, al estilo japoneés, las hacen en Colombia, creo q se llaman VARTEZ eyewear., se las recomiendo, me encanta la madera, un abrazo.

Is there another way instead of surfacing? ie solid body
Got stuck at 4:15, only lenses go onto the surface offset, but not the frame. Any help?
Parabéns, você é fera!!
Nice work
