If you fly fast "knife edge" keeping fuselage horizontally, you can spill some fuel. You need also do a couple of loops around the gas tank and then push it out of the cowl.

Do you really need to loop that vent line? I was told that you can have a direct vent out the fuselage without any spillage because of the vacuum the carburetor makes.
Looping the line increases the likelihood of creating a siphon, find the video on UA-cam "self starting siphon" the greater amount of liquid in the line the more force is available to pull gas from the tank. You got it backwards.
You covered everything but the fuel filter ?.

What is the brand of the tank and where can I get one please?
