After playing for a short while I noticed something interesting about the lavatories, they take in 5 kg of clean water, but discharge almost 12 kg of dirty water. This means every time one is used about 7kg of water is created. Using this as my foundation I build up my colony to have as many duplicants as possible producing as much urine as possible with the goal being to fill up a large aquarium. Eventually I do unfortunately have to start filtering the contaminated water.. Oxygen Not Included gameplay with my commentary as always! - Ігри

you can put the wires/pumps into the floor so it looks more "pretty" and it wont give the "terrible decor" thing which makes them unhappy
and if you continue the world you might wanna bury the bodies

Mechanical airlocks work without power, it just opens _faster_ when it's hooked up. Polluted water evaporates into polluted oxygen, but slowly.
Oh I just thought it emitted the polluted oxygen but the water kept it's mass.
@@crunch.dot.73 it's a very small amount, and I believe (don't remember if it's true or not) that it loses mass in a percentage based on the amount of surface that is exposed to gas of low pressure.
If you want to test it, you could use the sandbox mode to paint 1kg in a box of airflow tiles that's only 1 tile big inside, let the game run, and then see how it changes. I don't have my laptop atm so I can't confirm it myself.

Klei is a great company. Worked with them a couple of yrs ago when Don't Starve was released. Great to see them still active. The game looks great! :D

This might not have been the best game you could have played, though it was definitely a rather good one, but you were definitely one of the best people who could have played this game; that was some good clean /efficient/ gameplay; i feel like the only way it could have been better is if you used the task prioritization as well as you did the worker prioritization.
Edit: i really wish that a construction job wouldn't automatically come with a automatic mining sub-job if there was something in the way of what they were making; along with that is the wish that you could overlap multiple jobs in the same place; it would make things like setting up some micromanaged job priorities of removing a set of blocks in a particular order, and replacing a removed block before moving on to removing other blocks, so much easier.
I would love to see more of this. Hilarious!

1 year later... How'd it go hahah. It's an awesome game. I start getting bored mid-late game though once things like water and oxygen and germs are stable. Then it just becomes optimising everything to the fullest, and heat becoming an issue

edit: some nice trick to begginners
you can flip some structure whit sestroing all you pipe alredy builded whit the key O
you need 5 mealwood for duplicant if domestic 4x if wild
you can use pipe mecchanic to pipe water back and fort whitout using two pump
you can use oxygen deoxydizer to conver polluted oxygen to oxygen
you can use carbon skymmer to delete carbon deoxide
if you place a door you can trap easyly a dupe leavig the permission to go to left but not the right

DF here's a tip in case you didn't know, you need a sink for every lavatory you have because if a sink is occupied, dupes will walk by even if they're dirty.

For anyone interested in the game but is normally scared of how complicated these types of games are: It really isnt that complicated and you could easily learn the game while playing the first time on easy difficutly.

What is that royalty free music you have been using lately in your videos? I swear I have heard it in 100 other things but can never track it down.
I find making a carbon sink when building upwards helps out a lot. Mix with Algae terrariums and deodorizers and you've got a nice clean source of air.
There’s a sandbox mode in game settings. There’s also a debug mode, it can do other cool things. You should look up a tutorial on how to activate debug mode.
