Sweetheart Fringe Earrings

- In this video Kelly will be showing you two drop brick stitch while making a pair of fringe earrings. These earrings are super fun to make and are very lightweight. To make these earrings you will need:
*8 Grams 11/0 Delica Beads
*8yds of your favorite thread but not a thread such as fireline
*Size 12 Beading Needle
*Ear Wires

I had horrible gyn pain from my first period. This was back when menstrual pain was imaginary. Once my mother said to me, "I don't know why you complain so much; it's not like you have cancer." And I said, "If I had cancer I'd be dead by now." Thus followed several radical surgeries, after which the surgeons said they were not prepared for what was in there. Endometriosis. Finally at 39 I was able to have a hysterectomy, which has solved most of the problems. But my wife ended in 1970 when I had my first period.
One of my favorite things to make, in fact I have some heart findings I’ve been searching for for a week. lol just before I see this post I found the dern things, and I got all my beads ready and started to be and started you post, lol low and behold the techniques I learns over 30 yrs ago and like I said one of my favorites. Yes stiffer thread’s definitely do not work the magic, but most of my bracelets are made with nymo threads (size D) but lately it can’t seem to be found unless with small spools and I always have bought the cones, so I kind of feel stuck because I always make tons of loom bracelets with delica’s. So ya I’m kind of stuck, but hasn’t stopped me from making fringe earrings. lol tfs this wonderful technique. It steps up your game in beading.

Do you wax your thread? I do that several times during a project and it greatly reduces tangles. Just a small tip there.

Hi Kelly. When I use One G thread, the thread slips out from the needle. Should I tye a knot to keep it from slipping off the needle?
I wouldn't suggest putting a knot to keep the needle on because the know will make getting through your beads more difficult. I would suggest waxing the thread. It will give a little more grip to the thread and your needle shouldn't slide as much.
