As a kid I totally thought principal Mazur was implying that there was a school electric chair possibly reserved for Max. As a teen I realized that he didn't mean electric chair in the moment he was just predicting that's where Max was possibly heading if his behavior as a middle schooler continued into his High School and adult years. I couldn't figure out why he would go that far to say "electric chair" when Max did nothing more than disrupt a school event to impress his crush. Now as an adult I totally know why he said that. He said it because murderers want what they want and want it now and don't care what they have to do to get it. Well with Max willing to disrupt a school event to get what he wanted how far would he go in high school and as an adult? What if another guy truly was with Roxanne as they got older? Kids movies are filled with real life adult lessons that you don't pick up on til later
