This Act 3 is glitched for some reason. I completed this on insane and beginner and 51 components do not spawn.
However I tried this today and it worked. Basically follow the first few minutes of the guide but don't go to the rocket hanger.
Skip to 11:40 on this vid and then follow it through until you have completed all missions in the first area. BEFORE raising the bridge.
Then do the rocket hanger mission, raise the bridge but dont head to the turn table until you have completed all the missions in the 2nd area.
Go to the turntable
Then lower the bridge for the train
Take the beacon to Baird
Help out the convoy
Then go back to the rocket hanger to complete Act 3 once you have all the collectables.
This worked fine.
Strange that no other Act is glitched

Alright so...after completing the Rocket Hangar some of the components will despawn.
Follow instruction from 0:00 - 4:16
Skip to 11:40 and collect the open world components and collectibles up to 22:15.
Skip back to time stamp 4:16 and continue through until 10:26 then skip to 26:25 and play through to 33:00 after that return to 22:15 hunt everything through to 26:25. Finally return to 10:26 to do the turn table area and you should have all the collectibles and components spawn for you.
Simplified;
First: 0:00 - 4:16
Second: 11:40 - 22:15
Third: 4:16 - 10:26
Fourth: 26:25 - 33:00
Fifth: 22:15 - 26:25
Finally: 10:26 - 11:40
Edit: if you follow Maka’s path exclusively there is a bug that won’t allow you to pick up Jack’s Ultimate Upgrade for the cloak once you get the water drill going...it happened to me and had to start the act over from the beginning on insane. (Also thank you Maka for showing us where everything is. You’re an absolute MVP! As well as your helpers!)

Definitely yes. Do every side mission before starting any chapter or main quest mission.
This is so bad that The Coalition can release a game this buggy. I’ve had nothing but issues with the campaign since launch and even after the most recent update it just seems to have gotten worse! I’ve been a huge gears fan since the first one and this one just feels unfinished! It’s absolutely disgusting :(
Followed your way and the cosmonaut mission all components didn't spawn....fuck this dont wanna do a 5th playtrough
Playing in March 2020 I can pretty much guarantee that this seems to be fixed now, as I got everything in the exact order as shown on the video. So no worries about that now. I played on insane difficulty.

I’m home due to this quarantine times and this video is truly an eye opener, Thank you. Wish that when I started over that, those components would still be there. But re-collecting them again.

There is still soooooo much more to do before you magically appear at chapter 3. The order this guide is in is super frustrating. The guide makes it seem like you are supposed to magically appear back at the beginning of the map, but the game clearly wants you to go get the beacon.

If COMPONENTS are still not appearing for you, submit bug reports and support requests to The Coalition so they can acknowledge the problem. Upvote so people can see. The more people, the more attention.

Thanks for your reports of collectibles and components not showing up guys. I made it to the Train Turntable and turned around because I decided moving on to chapter 3 before looting the area wasn't worth the risk.

Not sure if this has happened to anyone else but I'm doing a fresh playthrough for all of the components and all the components in act 1+2 have all been there but act 3 has had many not spawn or have already been taken from the fuse boxes and safes.
As a result it means even if all of the act 4 components are available I won't be able to fully upgrade Jack's Barrier ability and unlock this achievement.
Great guide as always Maka as they always help but very frustrated by this occurring.

I don't know why I didn't play this game earlier but maybe because I didn't enjoy Gears of War 4's campaign but this one is really 10/10 for me and these guides are a God send.
Your guide is a bit suboptimal, as soon as you start with chapter 3, the components at the hangar (53-57, etc.) don't spawn. Some of them seem to have been done before chapter 3.
Yeah, it's the same with the start of chapter two.

After doing Starting Act 3 Chapter 3, a LOT of components didn't spawn for me.... At the end of the 3rd act I am left with only 89/152 components...

Ugh, never saw the box between hangars 1 and 2, or the later one between 2-3. And I was looking too. I really hope Gear 6 keeps this idea in the next game. Kind of like a treasure hunt.
Good videos, very helpful. Just a suggestion, when you accidentally get collectables and can't show them, show them in your collection so you see the name/place.
Please re-edit this video for future viewers, I know a lot of the problems is the game itself but at one point you send us to train turntables and later back down to crashed condor. The problem is you have to fight the wind flares each time and on insane it sucks! Thank you!
Yyeah the ordering for these Collectibles and especially components is just dumb, why not get all the ones at the airfield at the start? and why go back to rocket hangar place later for the Collectible just outside? makes zero sense
I am doing this on Inconceivable to only find out that this is not in organization and order. I have 148/152, and I know where exactly are the rest of my components just that this man did me in on this video. He sent me to Wyoming then to Florida.
13:38 you said pump station but this was the water tower. I’m sure someone already pointed this out by now.
This Act seems to be glitched. I've completed this on both insane and beginner and there are a total of 51 components that do not spawn on both difficulties. This unfortunately means I can't fully upgrade Jack. I hope this gets fixed
I've read elsewhere that you have to do the side missions BEFORE doing the mains or the components glitch out...have not found a guide that takes you thru the sides first though

At 19:30 thats actually the water tower not the pumping station thats a bit further on the map at a different location

I'm somewhat confused for the last area's collectables u say it'll appear if u went back to abandoned airport & got the barrier upgrade but in another video u say the barrier upgrade is in act 4

You did say you can miss some components and still get the achievement right? I'm at 151/152 I went thru this painstakingly and there was no component for me just outside(east) of the airport by the blocked side entrance with sandbags and tanks.
Don't go to the rocket hangar too early. I had components despawn by going there before other places, so I restarted and did everything I could before the bridge is raised(about 106 components, I think.), then went to the hangar. Doing it this way, I had no problems. I got all the components.

I’m missing one last collectible, I can’t seem to find the tanks with the solider , I looked and looked around the docks area like you said and no sign of the tanks. Help
I currently have 98/80 components in “Some Assembly Required” chapter, but I see 145/152 when I press start. I know that I missed out on grabbing some components in certain spots. Man, this helps but would have been nice if you mentioned that you cannot re-enter a room like for example, Cosmonaut Training Facility. I missed a single and I think a triple component in Cosmonaut Training Facility. I am only tripping because I am doing the campaign on Inconceivable and collecting the collectibles.
You can always finish the Act or Chapter, and then right after switch the difficulty to beginner and only grab the missing components. The collectibles will no longer appear in the map once you collect the collectibles, but all the components will reappear in the map.
Im replaying the game for the collectibles and components. A fresh new game from the start. Sometimes component does not appear where It should be, specially in this Act 3. Does anyone knows why?
I’ve explained it in the video, but the game should be counting them already. It’s likely they were collected in side mission areas tied to Jack upgrades and the game saves those between playthroughs.
@@Maka91Productions does that mean that when you begin an act or chapter the components are automatically added to your inventory to spend on Jack?

Imagine getting all the collectibles and all the components just so you can glitch out so you have to reset the mission so all that progress and previous missions were for nothing ....... great!

How the fuck is this game still broken with components and collectibles 3 weeks in? Fucking frustrating
why is it when I look at the map it says 16/17 collectables but when I pause it shows 13/13
I forgot to grab that collectible in the trailer at the cargo ship week and it won’t let me get passed the train bridge it’s all the way to the floor
I've done 95% of it, now I want to go back through the bridge to turning point but the bridge is down, a few hours wasted for nothing...

Anyone else have an issue were you would pick up collectables and they wouldn't get counted. Ive been having this problem the entire game. I collect something and doesnt get counted then later i look and some things would show up counted for

Could really use some help here, the collectible “UIR tag captain tagger” on chapter 3 act 3 right after the snatcher dies isn’t spawning for me or a buddy of mine, I even logged in an another account and still nothing unsure if it’s a despawn glitch because of certain things but I’m tempted to start a brand new save if anyone has some insight it would be greatly appreciated it’s the last one we need literally can’t find a single thing about it online
I kinda want to collect them all, but I just don't have enough motivation to go forward with it.
It looks tedious but remember: some components are stacked too.

26:28 - Component did not spawn. I recommend you try to get this component before proceeding in the campaign.

I have a small problem tho ..I dunno if your still replying or if anyone will ..but on Act 3 : (Some Assembly Required) I went to the Water Tower n cleared everything and got the book after I opened the door n got the girl out ...but when I went around back to get the components outta the fuse box thing ...it wasn't there !! Neither was the 1 up on the catwalk!!! I'm at 59/152 .... PLEASE HELP !! ( and yes I've reloaded from last checkpoint ...n even the checkpoint BEFORE the last the last checkpoint) and still nothing !!
