The look of red linework and orange looks so tasty as an art style. The cool background and warmness of character colours contrasting very aesthetic.

Thank you for showing this. Your scribbles are awesome. They are very loose yet still felt intentional.

Thanks for the brushes Tim. I haven't been drawing much as of late (doing more 3D) so it was a real good excuse to listen to your ideas while doing some sketching of my own. The section where you talk about AI. I agree, I think that something is lost by not doing this process. (a lot in fact) But I do feel that AI can be a good tool to communicate ideas, especially from non artist. it can be a beginning step to get a direction and get people aligned. From my experience, as soon as you need something specific, you need an artist. And in order to get the best designs, you need a sound process. Thanks again for sharing!

Tim, as always, your work and process is so inspiring. I'm currently attempting my first comic and have been writing copy, then for the last few weeks I've found that actually sketching out the characters is quite helpful to the writing process as well. It's been a lot more iterative between the two disciplines than I originally thought. Seeing what you've done here actually has helped make more sense of it all. Thank you.

the difficulty is how to stay creative without ending up doing the same thing as others or ending up drawing like another artist, it's something complicated, it's not just being good, but how to bring something different all the time. remaining within the standards
