I wish you had the Octa to review. I don't see much content on that one. Great video though, love the cozy rain. Also super curious to see the clean up process after making food! Nobody shows it!
Thanks for the suggestion on the Octa, I'll try to get one for review on here. I'll try to add in the dishwashing part as well. We've changed a lot since we started camping for dishwashing and right now it's not bad at all. Thanks again for watching, we appreciate your support!
Awesome video as usual! For making toast, not sure if you've heard of the Uniflame Mini Roaster. It is perfect for toast and bagels. It's really compact and light, about $30 on Amazon. Love the cooking videos!
Thank you! I never would have thought this, but I think I'm a cot person now after trying it. I've taken the cot out on two trips and used it once without a pad and the other time with the Exped Dura 8R. I really like how much space you get underneath for gear storage as well as being able to use the cot as a seat when getting up in the morning or just hanging out in the tent for a bit. I think the SP cots are the same width at 26inches, unless you have the backpacking version by Helinox. The setup on the Snow peak cots is absolutely genius and I'm impressed every time I assemble it. I'll have a full review up on the cots soon here!
Yes it can after going through a couple nights of fires. It easily comes off with a garden hose though and in my opinion well worth it for rainy camping.
Ryan, thank you for your videos. It is nice to also see your son grow up.
Hey, thank you, I appreciate your support on here! We were rewatching old videos a couple weeks back and couldn't believe how much has changed!
Thank you, Ryan for another great video. Nice cinematography and storytelling… and Snow Peak content. 😊
Thank you so much for your feedback, really appreciate your support!
Thank you so much for sharing! Been feeling anxious inside lately and seeing your journeys outside has given me the chance to breathe. Thank you
Thank you so much, so happy to hear the video could help a little!

Beautiful video. Columbia River Gorge is an incredible area. New to the channel and first video I’ve seen of yours. Incredible.
Hey, thank you so much! Definitely one of our favorite areas to explore. Happy to hear you enjoyed the video!

Thank you! I am familiar with Uniflame but haven't seen the Mini Roaster. Definitely need one of these, thanks for suggesting it!

Thank you so much!
Nice work
Thank you!
I own so much Snowpeak because of your videos!
Happy they have gifted you gear!
How were the cots?
I have Helinox cots and they are narrow.

Thank you!
Your video is always so nice! May i ask which park you were camping at? I live in Portland and would love to camp there too!
Thank you! Here is a link to the campsite, it's a hipcamp in Washougal, Washington and siite 2 is where we stayed. alnk.to/dewTVyF
Nice camp setup! May I ask what is the mat size where your son sleeps please?
Thanks! Emmett’s using an Exped Dura 8R in the size Med/Wide and it’s 72in by 25in.
Does the underside of that tarp get filled with soot?
Yes it can after going through a couple nights of fires. It easily comes off with a garden hose though and in my opinion well worth it for rainy camping.
Whats LUTS you use in this video
I’m actually just using a standard color profile, I believe it’s ciniD2 on my lumix s5. I’d like to learn color grading but haven’t had the time.
