What's your favourite accessory in this list?
I love my Kanto Yu2's. I have them in Walnut without the sub and they are ridiculously good. I have them running through a Schiit Modi/Magni stack and I love them.
Love the Benks stand. How stable is it? A little disappointed that it doesn't have a second hinge like the iPad Pro and Air versions.
I'm about to purchase a pair of Audioengine A2+ speakers, really looking forward to those. I also would love to get my hands on a mechanical keyboard, but it seems to be mission impossible to find one that is low profile and has a Spanish ISO layout. My favourite is Keychron, but no Spanish ISO. Any hints for vendors with Spanish ISO would be much appreciated.
I have Kanto YU4s with a Kanto SUB8 via iFi Audio Zen DAC from a Mac connected by USB. Excellent in a near-field audio environment. The YU4 is not overwhelming in size unless desk space is a major factor.
I think that putting speakers on stands (even low ones) can make a significant audio improvement over simply putting 'desktop' speakers on the errm... desktop.

@@michaelscott181 i ordered the Minisopuru dock for my imac. Its a bit cheaper, has the same features and it looks even better in my opinion.

That Satechi Slim Dock 😍 That’s the one I’ve been waiting for. Albeit I have to admit that I’m a bit disappointed about the SSD connection speed, I think 20Gb would’ve been the minimum but does it really matter remains to be seen. Thank you so much bringing it to my attention. 👍
Thanks for this, Mark. I swapped my old 27" iMac for a 24" M1 iMac and absolutely love it! I'm very tempted by some of the accessories you like, particularly the Satechi dock and the Logitech mouse.

I did the same a few months ago, I thought I would find the screen to small, but no issues whatsoever in changing to a smaller screen size, I find it a pleasure to use.
The Satechi Slim Dock looks great. Love how it matches so well with, the color of your 24-inch iMac (smile...smile).
I just got my Iqunix F97 keyboard with TTC Gold Pink switches and it is a dream to type on.
The desk mat might not seem necessary, right up until you get a lovely glass-top desk and then you realize that optical mice don't work without a solid and opaque desktop.
I wish the slim docks came in the matching pink.
Fingers crossed they have more colours in the works!
I love the whole look of your desk setup, however I have an iPad Air and it's my bedside companion when I am over being on the computer, I may upgrade to a similar look to yours someday, it really does look awesome, keep the videos coming, Thanks in advance.

Happy to see that third party companies are building accessories for the iMac 24”. It means that their sales figures are big enough to warrant the development of those accessories.

Have the Kanto yu2 w/stands and they are nice but I always felt like they needed a bit more punch. Will def look into the subwoofer.

I have the 24-inch iMac like it lot speakers seem good to me. I listen to lot of podcast and Utube videos the sounds seems good to me.
Yep, nothing wrong with them - particularly for that use case. I just wanted a bit more punch!
How did you plug in the speaker ? Is there a port in the hub ?

Getting the Logitech S2 Mouse (mobile version). Good price! Hopefully it will help resolve my issue with Excel scrolling all the way to the bottom of spreadsheets when touching the wheel 😆

Does M3 iMac compatible with the Satechi dock?
Nice video - Can you use the imac M1 as a monitor for your MBA M2 or MBP M1? Thinking it would be nice to at least still have a great monitor after the imac is no longer a good performer / new imac mini M3 comes out. Thanks
My main concern is finding a light bar that does not block the webcam. Does anyone have any recommendations or experience with light bars on any iMac M1?

hi Mark love your videos! I just got the 24" imac and just ordered the Satechi hub in blue. i'm wondering will I have any issues connecting an external monitor to it? currently I have a usb c hub with a VGA port on it that I have running my secondary display. TO get that to work I had to use one of those thunderbolt ports in the back (it wouldn't work on one of the other usb c ports). is there a specific port on the satechi dock that i'll have to plug my usb c vga dongle into or will I have to also plug it directly into a thunderbolt port on the back of the imac ? thanks

Hi Mark thank you for your review of iMac accessories. I have a Mac mini instead but I do have a question about the Satechi dock as a friend had a serious problem with an unpowered hub causing his external usb a drives to improperly unmount. Luckily it has a PD port and he was able to plug in a 20w charger and seems to have resolved the problem. Does this dock have a usb c PD port?
I've been trying to put my SSD in the slimdock but it wont connect. It's legit the same nvme ssd they advertise on the website...please help.
Same happened to me twice now with different ones. What is compatible with the iMac 24 for M.2 SSDs?
Hi Mark, I bought the Satechi slim dock for the Imac24 and I am yet to find a compatible 1Tb M.2 SSD for the expansion slot. I bought a Samsung and now a Crucial and the computer won't recognize it. If anyone here has been successful in finding one the will be plug and play on this Slim dock, please let me know the specific model for 1Tb

Accessories? I paid $2,400 for my new 24," and I can't even use it yet. Here's my rant:
I recently bought a 24" iMac for $2,400. When I got it home and unpacked it, I found that there were no instructions, and not even a packing list. So much for my gripe--Damn you, Apple. Anyway, what do I do with the Apple iMac 24" M1 ACDC Power Adapter with LAN Port? I know one end plugs into the computer, but what do I with the other end? Do I now have to add to the $2,400 tab and buy even more stuff? #$%^&**!!! (Sat Nov 19 2022; 2"03 PM)
