Hook up 😂
@@Fat12219 the russians gave them millions in 2015 to fix the grid and they used the money building hotels. Then the tourist never came and now they are broke, the russians want their money back and the Chinese left the island the day before the collapse.
Not payment
Lord help them😢
Sounds like the utility grid of Texas.
Yes, like Puerto Rico Power politics. An American switch turns the lights on and off. Stop the killer embargo against the people of Cuba. The best are still in Cuba, lights or no lights.
no it doesn;t bum
Go live in Cuba. Then talk.
Sounds like california with their weekly rolling blackouts that happen yearly. Dont wory, they tell the people living their to only rely further on that failing electric grid.
Go to cuba and live there ,Texas is a paradise compared to Cuba
There is no humanitarian crisis. This is EXACTLY the communist paradise they fought so hard to build.
Bingo!

Where's that Moses guys water harvestor and solar generator. The government should invest in something such as that temporarily.
The problems of Cuba is not our problem. The Cuban people should be supported by the Russians and by the communist Chinese.

@@t.r.campbell6585 Geography Matters.
@@ziziroberts8041 The communist party took control of Cuba in 1965. Since that time there have been many skirmishes that almost led to war. The Cuban missile crisis comes to mind. Most recently however, communist Cuba continues to slog along at the bottom of the pond. it should be the responsibility of other comments leading countries to support Cuba during their time of need.
Yeah... good reason to send troops closer to America's shores to go help Cuba with a power outage. 😖
😂😂😂😂😂... Nice way to say "there is nothing to see here"...
Have people in the USA noticed the issues around the power lines around numerous locations?
Donate lipstick 👄
Have any of the bureaucrats in power in Cuba today seen the abundance that a free-market economy can produce for average income workers? Do they know any other way to live besides trying to get more than their fair share in an oppressed and impoverished society? Can they even imagine their country being able to trade valuable services for enough imported food and goods so that most of their citizens could have enough to eat and could afford to buy the imported goods they need?
Some of the surviving older Cuban bureaucrats may have received a college education in the old Soviet Union, but certainly that would not have shown them the abundance of a free market economy. Prior to its revolution, Cuba used to have splendid beaches, luxury resort hotels, deep sea sports fishing, casinos and dazzling night clubs for tourists. And many rich Americans came to Cuba to spend a lot of Yankee Dollars. Yes, that old Cuban government was corrupt and run by a few elite families and allowed the U.S. mafia to rake in huge profits. But today, a communist economy based on getting foreign money by exporting hand-rolled cigars and accepting handouts from Russia is not any better for the average citizen. Will Cuba's communist government have to first collapse under its burden of poverty before its citizens get a chance for a better government and better lives?
Crime rate there is virtually non existent because everyone's needs are met and nobody has more than what they need for others to covet.
They don't need a consumer based economy and I hope they can rebuild their infrastructure so that the people continue to be content.
As long as the 60 year US embargo and sanctions on Cuba remain in effect there can never be a free market economy. They still have splendid beaches, resort hotels, deep sea fishing, night clubs etc for tourists but this is due to Cuban initiatives in spite of US efforts to destroy them
They sound a little Republican like in nature. Things fall apart. It must be prevented and yes, that costs a lot of money. The Republican way is to wait till it breaks, but for millions, that's a terrible way of thinking.
Wow! Looks like Cuba is in need of funding.
They dont have oil
And you guys said that the Chinese navy making their way to Cuba and surrounding areas wasn’t an issue…. They’re using practice war tactics on them to see how they react before their next move
Stop being communist then!🙄
Until our AMERICAN CITIZENS in NC, GA, TN and FLA are taken care of from a Hurricane, get in line Cuba, call other countries.
Lies
I am surprised MSNBC didn’t blame Trump. CNN did.
It was the Cuban officials who blamed DJT.
No problem, we can absorb most of their population like Venezuela.
So, what is the Cuban government doing with their money? Does it go to building up military strength or just go into the politicians' pockets. Are foreigners allowed in Cuba or is kept locked down? I heard Cuba doesn't have much in the way of natural resources, so why doesn't Cuba allow tourism to bring in some foreign cash flow? Going days without power must be horrible. The Cuban government needs to invest more money into the infrastructure if there is money available. Maybe there is too much corruption at the top levels in the government.
Where are American progressives when Cuba needs them?
Trying to figure out what gender they are...
END THE EMBARGO!
Yeah, we would like to end the embargo however they need to end their corrupt policies Trump 2024
Russia gave them over a billion to fix their electrical grid in 2015. They stole/mismanaged the money. It’s not the embargo’s fault on this. But their government loves that embargo, it’s been their excuse for every problem they’ve caused
Daddy Putin's aid will come soon.🤣🤣
The embargo has always been irrelevant. Not even Cubans on the island believe that nonsense.
Lift the stupid Embargo against ur nearest neighbor
😂😂😂when they make free elections yes
The embargo is not relevant. Never has been. No one knows that truth better than Cubans on the island. The embargo is not the oppressor: totalitarianism is the oppressor; the Cuban regime is the oppressor.

Sad, they need political change for sure. Investment in solar and wind could help but climate change is going to be rough. Their lucky it was only a cat 1 hurricane a strong hurricane could come as the years pass. This is one of the reason we have problems with immigration.
