Thanks for your video . Its very easy to understand . I have public IP /24 , So how do I configure same network for wan and LAN . Also I want to use same IP to other VM on proxmox which managed by pfSense
Very clear. I heard in another youtube video one guy saying i dont use vlan's anymore to isolate. Now i use subnets But i think for subnets you need a router with multiple ports. I have now only 4 ports so I guess , i can create only 3 subnets . Is this correct?
There are very reasons why 1 would go for the VLAN one of the reasons is of course that VLAN can be configured in multiple switches and you might not have the direct access to all the ports of the switches for example, if you have uplink from one switch to another switch, you will need to have the PHYSICAL ACCESS to all ports and in fact you will not be able to provide multiple physical connections to that switch but yes if you have the isolated network, which are on the same location, one switch can be in one subnet and another can be on another subnet, which is fine. You can use that so you can have from your access to physical networks which will be connected to two physical switches that is fine.

Hi public IPV4 will depend upon the service provider’s configuration.
@@syncbricks its already setup on my mikrotik router and I just used by static IP on VM ( I have full IP /24 )
Very clear.
