I feel rn these fights are a nice little introduction to people that are scared of Extremes and such. Not too hard but they throw some curve balls normal might not Although the battle design of back then was different. It's more chaotic than now
damn that was good. This extreme was a nice touch to dip your toes into fights. The game is paced so well, much like Psybear you're passing with flying colors.
*The BIGGEST difference in Raiding FF14 is: The use of Addons.* *All Raids are Tested and Completed by the Developers to be done without any form of help.* *The use of Modification/Addons/External-program etc. to help you clear a fight is a Bannable offense,* *And are usually looked down upon by other Raiders, as they take away the Achievements of clearing it LEGIT.*
@@cos9398 Money doesn't really matter in ff14 so i don't care how he got it. I personally don't want to get gil for free or by no effort cuz it makes gil even more trivial. The money i have is the money i made my self and spend on what i like: mounts, minions etc. since i am a collector. If i got lots of gil an bought everything in one go how boring the game would be for me. I like to look forward to buying something with gil i saved up. Makes the moment all the sweeter.
Very nice Andy! For what it's worth, you're pulling with Provoke (Taunt), but it works differently in FF. Provoke doesn't actually do anything when no one has any enmity (it matches your enmity to the current highest in the party, which is value 0 because you're just starting the fight). The best way to open is Shield Lob only (and later on, heroic leap equivalent once you have it), which has higher than normal enmity generation for the damage it does.
Actually as of endwalker 6.2 Provoke generates 4000 potency of threat (buffed from the 2000 potency of threat it had in shadowbringer) literally takes 2 seconds to google.
You choose paladin tank, nice 5:39 ah yes using your invul skill and still dying while its on cooldown, classic damage snapshot supremacy 😅 Cheers on the clear 🎉 oh shit the fire horse mount wow😮
Glad you enjoyed your first EX trial. Charming raid party you found yourself there. Looking forward for more!
Watching Echo players progin any ff fight is a treat, looking forward for Andybrew jurney.

so very nice, congrats
i hope you like all the other fights too
also as a tank myself, i am eager to see how you gonna like these
Oh wow you are jumping in it. But yea the further you go in the story the extremes and raiding gets more difficult.

This was a fun watch, I hope this will be a good side game for you alongside WoW. Really looking forward to the new fights!
your white mage spamming cure constantly is holding the group back. healers need to deal damage if you wanna pass dps checks later

Now I'm curious to see the Garuda and Titan EX progs that gated this
glad you enjoying raiding
How does he have 22M Gils ?

These fights used to be 10 times harder back when the game had around 500ms baked in, plus around 200-300ms if you lived in the EU added on top.
That reminds me playing on PS3 super latency doing titan EX near possible to dodge puddles and line aoe knockbacks ugh
ahah those early bosses tanks don't have to do anything meanwhile the healers are sweating bricks the entire fight.
Congratz
Goooood old ps3 memories^^

i hope ur not talking about pulling with gap closer :concern:
This isn't true anymore. Provoke provides ~100 potency of threat or so, enough to hold onto hate for a GC or 2
Actually as of endwalker 6.2 Provoke generates 4000 potency of threat (buffed from the 2000 potency of threat it had in shadowbringer) literally takes 2 seconds to google.
