Third Problem can also be solved by using the following operations [X2, +1, X2, -1] with respect to individual column
With respect to 1st column
5 X 2 = 10 => 10 + 1 = 11
11 X 2 = 22 => 22 - 1 = 21
With respect to 2nd column
8 X 2 = 16 => 16 + 1 = 17
17 X 2 = 34 => 34 - 1 = 33
With respect to 3rd column
7 X 2 = 14 => 14 + 1 = 15
15 X 2 = 30 => 30 - 1 = 29
Therefore the answer is 29
