I just finished the series and I was sad that I didn't have anyone with to talk about it, but seeing that there are people like YOU, who go out their way to make a video about this series and how they much they liked it, makes me happy and puts me at ease, because watching this, makes it feel like having someone who you can share your enjoyment of the series with!
I felt the same after finishing the show myself! Wanting to talk to people about it that is. The video is the result of me wanting to sorta give my thoughts on the show! A nice side effect of this video was that it probably got at least a couple of people watching the show too! Sukeban Deka is honestly such a gem I hope that many people who might come across this video try watching it themselves! 1. the organization behind Saki is completely useless she gets into trouble they do nothing, she gets captured they sit around talking, she runs away and basically quits they do nothing, Jin only "showed" up that one time after the other agent helped her escaped getting himself captured (if you know, you know) in the process. this same organization will use her mother as a shield if Saki refuses to jump when they demand it. 2. everything leading up to the finale (except for the actors) got me pissed off! A. they really wanted those 3 sisters to be the endgame baddies so bad they had to nerf Saki. During Saki fight with one of the sisters which Sanpei finds out Saki is the Sukeban deka that girl should've been arrested or at least caught no logical reason she got away other than the plot! that one episode with the americans that acting on the unknown female was bad. another episode where Saki meets another sister and lets her get away! B. these girls attacked/hospitalized her friend, and was going to off her in that same episode, attacked those other girls that removed her "gang girl" status don't really care about them, attacked another unrelated boy, shot Saki, had Saki bedridden for half an episode, had Saki crying something she "never" does, had that one girl who kept going on and on about how beautiful she was the most hated girl on the block/made her almost off herself, kicked them out of their own school, had them doing class outside, offed another agent, offed some random guy, and plenty of other things I won't name because (spoilers) and Saki didn't catch not one of them writers literally out here doing character assassinations they literally show us Saki bodying that one dude twice her size and she can't catch 3 people? 3. Sanpei is irrelevant for the majority of the show and only becomes relevant towards the end I don't care about him honestly. 4. the girl who took away her gang girl status is also irrelevant/annoying and is the only reason why they got kicked out of school. and the finale? don't like it not one bit Saki would never. and season 2?? 🤷i'll have to write down what i think of it on the next video because spoilers/haven't finished yet so in conclusion Yuki Saito (Saki) forever would smash 100%
