Thank You for Watching! - Навчання та стиль
Just discovered this game this weekend at our local spot. Going to make a couple of these for Christmas gifts now. Thanks!!
Nice - just what I was looking for - any plans available or reference for plans???
Are there plans you can share for this?? Great job!! This teacher loves Shut the Box!!
No I'm sorry, I built it based off of the materials I had around at the time. You might be able to find something online. Best of luck, and thanks for watching!
Entertaining, enjoyed watching. Do you find that recording your project inspires higher quality? It was also exciting, and suspenseful. . . I got so scared when you were applying glue to the wooden parts above the felt board. An even more awesome ending would be four people playing it together. :)
definitely more pressure, because I know someone is watching, and judging my work...makes it fun, thanks for watching!
Great job! I just finished making my own Shut the box game. (Beginner with wood here - have a look at my vid if you have time). Envious of your shop. Wish I had the tools to play with. Really nice job. Cheers!
The only thing I saw you so wrong is, you shouldn't use the fence while using the miter gauge. To much of a chance of kickback.
Can you give a little more info on the technique and materials needed for the numbering at 3:30? Thanks
adam long iron on technique got the idea from jay bates, you need a laser printer, the pen reheats the ink transferring it into the wood...just make sure u print out your image backwards or it'll come out the wrong way
Cool project, not sure if it's the device I'm viewing on or not but there is no sound. But nice job anyway
No sound on mine either, but still a neat project :)
Thanks
The software that I use stinks, So I thought I'd take the Diresta route. For mine you have to add the audio after the video is completed and it is very difficult to get it just right. Usually there is lag and it sounds poor. What video software do you use Mike?
What is your process for getting the numbers on?
You have tonprint them out on a laser printer...or on a laser copier machine...you must print them backwards...then cut out...and heat with a flat tip of a wood burning pen...I would Google heat transfer techniques on Google or UA-cam...I got the idea from Jay Bates on UA-cam...I hope this helps!
I don't want to make a 12 tile 4 person shut the box, and I can't find one to buy. Can you help me?
I wish I could but a lot of time went into this, and I am slammed right now with builds for customers and some home renovation projects...
no sound ?
Sorry, I need to look for new software, any recommendations? Thank you for watching
no audio, no plans, a bit discouraging - want to make this for my class, but not going to waste my time on this video - sorry
I'm so sorry Kathy. Thank you for leaving your comment. Maybe when you make yours you can film it, edit it, pick out some nice tunes, and share it with UA-cam! Let me know how it turns out!!!
